Our experience at Combal Zero was very interesting, to say the least. On our last night in Torino we decided to dine at this restaurant, which is beautifully situated on the grounds of Castello di Rivoli. It rained quite heavily when we arrived at the Castello, after a thirty minute taxi drive from Torino centre. There was a girl waiting to show arriving guests the way to the restaurant, since it was quite a distance to the entrance of the restaurant. She only had one umbrella and wasn't about to share it with us. So we we were soaking wet when we finally arrived. There was no one to welcome us, and finally after a while a girl with a serious looking face took our coats. When we started walking to the dining room, she bluntly stopped us....Wait here! So much for a warm welcome..... The dining room wasn't very appealing, it felt more like a giant hall way and the atmosphere was stiff. But nothing could spoil our evening, since we came for the amazing food of Davide Scabin. And he didn't let us down, his dishes were inventive, quirky and delicious. We went for the 5-course 'traditional' menu. All dishes were good but from those five courses the Mediterranean pancake with squid was exceptional. It was packed with flavour and served with the most tender squid I've ever tasted. And his take on a famous Piedmontese dish, Finanziera, was equally good. This stew of organ meats and mushrooms was so delicate and the touch of vinegar in the sauce brought a beautiful balance to the dish. We drank beautiful and interesting wines, mostly regional. Although the food and wines were amazing, the dining experience is about the whole package. We found the styling of the dining room very uninspired and the atmosphere too temple-ish. The staff was too tense at times, which made us feel uncomfortable. Ideally this beautiful food deserves to be served in an elegant and more relaxed atmosphere by a welcoming staff.

Do not be deceived by the rather drab external appearance to this restaurant. Once you get inside the ambience is very pleasant. The value for money is excellent as the food quality is high and the portions are more than ample. A very pleasant evening meal was enjoyed here.

I went to Bistrot del Castello with a large family group and the experience was positive under all points of view. The food was excellent, refined and tasty, at relatively affordable prices. We were a pretty large group and were able to sit all together in a side room which made it all very pleasant. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend a visit!

Pizzorante, is a pizza restaurant in Rivoli near Turin, friendly, fast, accurate where you can find the best PIZZA IN BRICK Turin and province, high levels of quality and service that characterize our tradition for a quarter of a century, both in the pizzeria and restaurant industry, in Rivoli Turin. Staying in a casual yet cozy, sophisticated but practical, but also valuable convenient. Preserving the characteristics of speed of service. Restaurant Rivoli Turin Mediterranean tradition with a particular attention to the kitchen regional Piemontese, its products of excellence with recipes, magazines and made digestible to modern customers.
Arrived just about 7 in the evening, asked for English language as my Italian is poor. Been pointed the worst table by the cook! Asked for drinks, my beer was off so asked the front of house staff who arrived by then to replace it, what she did, but the cool was moaning about it behind the bar! Food was ok, as we were starving, but with a service like this do not really wanted to stay. One positive thing was the nice picture on the way to the toilette!

TripAdvisor helped me out again by driving me there. The restaurant is situated in the suburbs of Rivoli but it's easy to find through any GPS device. The place is rather popular among business people I'd say, as there were many that day and the personnel as well as the environment itself along with a well-set-up menu spanning between seafood and meat would draw anybody in. I order as a starter a grilled octopus with fresh vegetables and a main course an interesting homemade tagliatelle dish cacio cheese and ink black, i was rather skeptical in the first place to match seafood with cheese but I have to admit it was worth taking! Price maybe a bit too high.

I was an old customer of "il Bisogno" since the old place smaller and nearer the Rivoli Center.
I was really fond of the "green beer" (that is a mix of beer and blue vodka, if I guessed correctly).
It's halfway between pub and restaurant.
Waitresses are now very busy and so they cannot help you so much and in fact you hjave to fill yourself the order list using the numbers on the menu.
Food quality is average to good (before was better).
Drink quality is still good (as before).
Drink quantity.... mmmmmm.... (before was better)
The amusing thing of the old site was that they served the drinks inside "chamber pots"...in three different sizes "1/4 di bisogno" (=S), "1/2 bisogno" (=M) e "1 bisogno" (=L).
On the new site the chamber pots are swapped for something more similar to a drink bowl that mantains the same name.
A place to go once to drink using "bisogno"... now NOT worth a return.
there are a lot of places with higher quality and better service.

A country-chic, warm and informal venue comes from the passionate restoration of a sixteenth-century farmhouse in the heart of the old town - near the Castle of Rivoli, seat of the Museum of Contemporary Art. During your dinner you can enjoy hundreds of fine wines paired with typical local dishes, old and traditional recipes and unusual gastronomic specialties, based on the Piedmontese "Merenda Sinoira".
This is a great place. An old farm converted into a wine bar/restaurant in the heart of historical Rivoli.
Since I discovered it few month back, I have dined there many times and will continue to do so.
Excellent atmosphere, personal service, very well thought selection of wines, wonderful food and very honest prices.
Enoteca 325 is owned and run by two brothers who are more than happy to give detailed and knowledgable advice on their wine selection (and of course the food).
Places like this are very rare indeed.

Very pleasant and peaceful place with the green all around. I went there with friends and, even if we hadn't booked, the guy found a table for us very quickly. Courtesy and quality are the nouns that describe this place.Hy sarett, thank you so much for your time here! And thank you so much also for this beautiful review. With two words you described all of us: THAT’S GREAT!!! Wish you’ll be here again soon!!! Thanks again sarett. Strong hugs from the Ombelico!!!

Service was fairy friendly. Good English spoken which helped my poor Italian. Pizza had too much cheese which spoilt it. Base had a good flavour topping was terrible (wurst).
