My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant and enjoyed visiting with the waiter and the owner immensely....they were both informative, patient with our many questions about the area and professional in their service....
The lunch was excellent, we had the stockfish/seafood pasta dish and loved every bite! The ingredients were fresh and innovative.........a gourmet meal!
The bread is wonderful also......
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area around Reine.......

Went here for dinner based on good reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! Very good services- they don't have vegetarian option on the menu but upon requested, the chef made me a delicious vegetarian meal. Friend had cod fish and she loved it too. Highly recommended!

It is true that it doesn’t look great on the outside, but open the door to find a warm interior, a few basic tables (shared by couples) and smiling service.
Food was typical for around here, fish, fish soup, whale meat (!), cod tongues … but nourishing and the apple pie was very good indeed! Wine list limited, but hey, there was wine!
There was also a Terrace, which was used when the sun was out.
It’s the only pub in Hamnoy, otherwise you have to go to Reine.

Seafood delicacy shop with a wide selection of seafood; stockfish, clipfish, smoked salmon, halibut, caviar and a selection of fresh fish. The shop offers a grab and eat concept where you can buy small dishes at the counter, such our world wide famous fishburgers topped with shrimps and salmon!
Great little restaurant on the way to Reine, ample parking and great food options. The smoked salmon Sandwich was just exquisite. Free cold tap water was brought to the table for guests to enjoy and it is a cozy and beautifully decorated place!
There's also a variety of jams, smoked fish, fish cakes and various other food assortments that you can take with you or take home as souveniers.
Great place with good service and fair prices. Would recommend and would absolutely go back to again!

Bringen Kaffebar is the perfect stop for a break on our tour of the Lofoten Islands. The coffee, latte and cappuccino are all good, unfortunately no decaf. There is a good selection of home made cakes and pies. They also serve ice cream and waffles. They also sell local candies and preserves to take with you.
There are two rooms with Seating and the porch. All areas are kept clean by the staff.

We are serving lunch and basic dinners. We also have coffee and some cakes. If you would like to make your own waffle you can even do that. We have the full license to serve alcohol. We have local beers from Lofoten. We also serving wine and drinks after your taste.
We ate here several times during our stay in a town nearby. We loved the eggs, bacon, and toast every morning. Had the fish and chips....also great. The food, excellent always, and the girls working were a joy to chat with. I would recommend:)

Café Reine is a small but cosy coffee bar situated in the premises of Reine kultursenter hosting also the Eva Harr gallery. We serve balanced classic espresso as well as variety of most common coffee drinks. Be sure to check out our freshly baked waffles, cinnamon rolls, chocolate buns, and other delicious homemade treats!
After a night sleeping out on the road, I was looking for a place to eat, drink & recharge the batteries.
I found this little cafe hidden in an art gallery.
Food choice is simple but good.
The location and the atmosphere is really pleasant.
But above all is the kindness of the staff.
You should really stop by to have a nice quiet time.

The fish can't get much fresher and the chef certainly know how to prepare it. Topped with a nicely flavoured sauce and served with boiled potatoes and crisp veggies, it was perfect. And a tasty crumble or brownie for dessert. The owner was helped on this occasion by his daughter (4 or 5 years old?) who's well on her way to learning her server duties! It's a busy place and we ate downstairs for attentive service, but don't expect a quick in-and-out. This is a place to savour your wine, your meal, and conversation.

Just bought a couple of cinnamon rolls. We had read that these were rather special, and they were scrumptious. We had to join a queue to get them. It was red-hot inside the bakery, which was welcome on a cold, wet day. Each serving of the rolls came with a health warning, don't burn yourself on them, as they come fresh out of the oven.
Beware - Bakery closes at 3 pm; don't leave it too late to buy your cinnamon rolls.

The beauty of Sakrisøy and Reine is simply staggering – and in my opinion the most beautiful part of my country!
This charming restaurant in an old historical building at Sakrisøy serves traditional food based on local commodities. Both days we visited the restaurant we order “Fish of the day” – Skrei (cod). The fish can’t get fresher here in Lofoten!
The waitress was friendly, and we enjoyed a good conversation with her.
In the summertime it is possible to order food and beverages outside with amazing sea view.
Highly recommended!
