We had a family gathering over there. It was my first time in this place. I ordered rabbit with local dumplings and beets. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was AMAZING. I tried some soups over there as well - highly recommend!

They have really great Italian-style pizzas there and a choice of draft and bottled beers (Heineken, Zywiec, Porter, Strong, Paulaner on draft). Apart from nice food one can watch Performances of top Polish jazz bands at Bugsy's. Service is unfortunately quite slow.

It was pleasure to visit that place
My local living friends took me there for lunch
I had wild mushroom soup - I would give 4/5
Tatar steak 4/5 also only as I couldn't get pepper mill and need to use ready pepper which is not impressive for me
At last for main meal I had Duck with apples . I didn't expect that I will be so big;) I wouldn't took Tatar steak
It was delicious ;)
Strongly recommended to anyone

We have spent ten minutes in that place...during that time no one came to present us the menu, not to mention welcoming and walking us to our 'table'. We have left, together with other people who have been there before us, waiting for nothing...DO NOT GO THERE!!!

We chose it because it was number one on TA, it was late and we were pressed by time so didn't have the time to question the rating or realize its location until it was too late.
First it is important to know that this is the restaurant of Hotel Piaskowy, along the highway near the McDonald. Don't look for a view or anything charming. Hence the photo of a buffet which must be for breakfast because it is a classical restaurant.
We asked for 2 starters to be served as main (this person in the group didn't want main but replaced it with soup & salad). We really insisted. 1 - we were not listened to and had to wait 45 minuted for main courses since starters were served first and everybody else had to wait for their food!!! This resulted in us missing the opening hours for entrance to the castle when we had come just for that - very annoying.
2 - one dish and one garnish were changed. The result was good but in a fancy restaurant like this, if you change anything on your menu you need to warn the client.
3 - We were charged for TAP water!!! TWICE!
On another trip I would definitely go in center town. This place is more suited for a business lunch.

An impromptu reservation for Monday evening had myself and my English colleagues came to this magical place. We went for the tasting menu and it was a REVELATION (reserve around three hours for that option). I've been to Michelin-starred restaurants before and Wodna Wieza offers that kind of experience. Superb service, amazing steampunk themed interiors and delicious food make it a must-visit when in an around Katowice. I will definitely be coming back.

Fronting on to the main square in historical Pszczyna, the Pivnica cafe provided an excellent location for people watching whilst enjoying a cold beer and a tasty, well presented pizza. This after picking through the Sunday flea market in the square. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was inexpensive.

Warownia Pszczyńskich Rycerzy is a restaurant and a castle in one. It is a perfect place for everyone who wants to embark on an adventure, taste the Middle Ages and feel the Europe of knights' ambience. We decided to refer to history and created the unique Warownia.
The castle is fantastic, courtyard too. When you come inside you can really feel the knight spirit. Drinks served in ceramic pots are very ingenious. But the food is average. Rumpsteak was chewy and tough, pork was ok but nothing special.

It is the perfect place to relax after an active day, where you will be strengthened for further travel. In the immediate neighborhood of the Karczma Wiejska there is a Bison's Farm. Entrance to the farm is free. Restaurant Karczma Wiejska is the perfect place for kids. The huge space near the forest and the safe playground will allow children to utilize their energy. In summer our guests may play in table tennis or on football table.
After visiting the Bisons Reserve "Rezerwat Zubrowisko" in Jankowice, (which is Free to the Public!) we crossed the street and enjoyed a truly wonderful meal at the Country Inn called "Karczma Wiejska". All meals were freshly prepared and delicious! The wine & Beer list was extensive and the whole experience didn't cost very much at all. Would highly recommend a visit to Jankowice. Accessible from Krakow or Katowice, its worth the trip to see the Bisons, enjoy a hike around the reserve and have a Great Traditional Polish Meal as well.
