What really characterizes us in the kitchen, always genuine, abundant and juicy, ingredients able to satisfy the most demanding gourmets too. The Hotel Restaurant "La Bussola" can offer banqueting services in keeping with local customs and traditions, for up 500 guests and the hospitality of the staff, as well as the warm atmosphere of the hotel ensure that it is a refreshing and relaxing experience. You can taste a rich and abundant Italian breakfast or of a sweet and salty sideboard with warm croissant, chocolate, milk, coffee, the fruit hardly picked, Calabrian capicollo, local cheese, home-made sweets, cereals, yogurt, various fruit juices, bread butter, jams and so on. For the customers of the hotel, we have 3 comfortable atmospheres with bar, one big hall with pizzeria for the hotel customers. Moreover, we offer for our clients, a big porch on the green, with small tables and comfortable chairs, a pleasant and calm area for who appreciate a glass of good local wine, or a cocktail. It is a good place for tasting an aperitif, long drink, etc., or to taste a good coffee or a "Tartufo of Pizzo" (it is a local ice cream from Pizzo Calabro, near Tropea) after lunch or supper. Every day you can choose from a different menu of fresh fish, Calabrian, national, and international specialties. Particular attention is devoted to the preparation of Pizza cooked in a wood fueled oven. Our guests can view a comprehensive wine list of the best wines of both Calabria and of the rest of Italy. Also, we often organize tastings of Calabrian typical products......"Calabria evening" (once a week), a multi-course feast during which the best regional specialties are served with popular music songs and dances.
We visited this place twice during our stay in Capo Vaticano and were very pleased. The setting is nice (especially if seated outside, the inside feels a bit industrial) and the service is very professionnal. You feel that the waiters here have their job as a career choice rather than a summer job. We had a few favourites among the dishes: the raw prawn starter was excellent, so was the tasting plate of red onions. The lamb chops were very disappointing, however the entrecôte (yes, I'm sorry after three weeks of seafood I wanted a change...) was one of the best I've ever had and the red wine we had with it was excellent too (28 eur Quattro something...). Really enjoyed this place and found it to be good value.

I was following carefully this restaurant because we always listened a lot of nice review of it. Finally I went back to my original place and we had the opportunity to taste the delicatessens of this restaurant. Traditional chicken with all the experience and the taste of a really good Calabrian chef. We spend a lovely night and we will warmly recommend this place if you are a couple or a small group of friends who want to taste somethings specials!!! Bravo chef continua così!!!

by the way, I'm the owner of the restaurant I would like to point out that mine is a respectable not a bar so accordingly you should put me on the restaurants that will bake it is not on the bars thanks and best regards
a true manifestation of authentic Italian food at its best. The Antipasto alone would have been more than one could have hoped for, but as the authentic Italian tradition calls for il primo piatto and secondo con contorni (1st, second and side dishes) homemade pasta "Filet" with homemade sauce. Service with a smile and efficient manner. all delicious till the very end! Can't wait to go back next year!! Grazie amici!

In an ancient barn, surrounded by a very quiet garden, we offer the right location for a romantic dinner, a suggestive evening or even for working lunch.
Once you find Donna Orsola you will be at first struck by its quirky exterior and decor. The interior of the restaurant is furnished with pieces of antique style furniture - like having a meal in your gran's house. I absolutely loved it!! There is also a beautiful terraced area for al fresco dining but I would recommend making a reservation to secure one of these tables. The menu is also unusual - typical Calabrian dishes with a twist. The pasta is homemade and so beautifully made and presented. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough of it, but if you are eating as part of a 3 or 4 course meal, then it was plenty. There is also a great reasonably priced wine list, and the wine is served in beautiful glasses. The lady that served us was really helpful and spoke good English too. My only tiny complaint was the price charged for 2 children's 'pasta bianci' which were tiny portions was slightly too high. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back on our next visit to Calabria. Thank you for a truly memorable meal!

The Restaurant Le Rose was born in Briatico in 1978 in a small run family-run establishment where he remained until 1990, then moved to St. Constantine Briatico in the largest room consists of two rooms with large garden and veranda. The Restaurant Roses, it is only 3 km from the main road 522, open all year round. Our cuisine is typically Mediterranean, with typical Calabrian products and tasting of fresh fish.

A New Trend and Lounge Bar where you can spend your evenings in the tranquility enjoying good music and enjoying new and tasty Appetizers & Cocktails.
Set in an open piazza, near the end of the main road through the old city centre, the bar is a relaxed and welcoming environment. The cocktails are top quality and not too expensive considering the location. They provide a complimentary antipasti which was very delicious. They do offer a small selection of antipasti for purchase. They also play some great music, not too loudly!

My partner chose this restaurant after Reading the reviews on trip advisor, we did not make a reservation but managed to get a table, the octopus starter was nice but my partners choice of starter was stunning it was the stuffed calamari , the waitress recommended the spaghetti with tuna to me , I never normally eat tuna but this dish was so tasty I would highly recommend it, my partner had the risotto and he said it was lovely , the owner came out to thank us for dining there it was the finishing touch, great place!
