Il Centro tries, and succeeds, to be fine dining in a small village. Some traditional Piemonte dishes taken to a higher level make this a nice place to have a romantic dinner. Good wine selection and attentive service top it off.

Over the last few months I must have tried some 10 michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and this is certainly the best. The restaurant is quite simple and unassuming. But food and service are fantastic.
Davide Palluda is really nice and friendly and his cuisine is a perfect combination of creativity and sobriety. Piedmont roots are important, but not overwhelming.
This was the fifth or sixth time that I visited in the last five years and as high as my expectations are it never lets me down. Quite the opposite, always a surprising and gratifying experience.
In terms of value for money, this ranks amongst the top ten restaurants in the world.
If you happen to be in Piedmont or northern Italy, do not miss it.

Our experience at Belvedere was magic. Working in the food industry, I was treated to tipical Piedmontese dishes, with warm, friendly service, at a price that was reasonable- actually expected to be higher.
Food & wines were matched at each course, and only seasonal produce was used.
My only regret was that we did not go more often. !!!!

We had a lunch here to celebrate a birthday. Sometimes is difficult to book but it's for sure worth waiting. Atmosfere is warm and discrete as the service.
The menu is fixed and contains lots of the typical dishes of the area. On each one the taste is balanced and you can really feel each flavour. You'll be satisfied in quality and quantity. Wine selection is wide, as it's mandatory in this reach area: between the "usual" barbera, nebbiolo and dolcetto you can find the very typical ruchè that probably is rare outside from here. Finally cost/quality ratio is an unexpected positive surprise.

Crescentino is a small town by the river Po in Italy, located between Torino and Milan. A very small Piedmont town where you might not expect a sophisticated place to eat. Well, if this is your expectation then the Archigusto is quite a surprise. Located just across the street from the square, the restaurant has a light yet interesting decoration and an ambiance that gets you in the mood for a good meal. Not having many tables to attend, the service is efficient and quite personalized.
The food is very good, from the amuse-bouches (I had a delicious prosciutto) to the dessert (something with hazelnuts and dark chocolate). The specialties range from regional plates (such as the risottos - this is an area where rice is a major crop) to creative delicacies such as the asparragus mousse I had the pleasure to get.
A great dining experience.

My wife and I were wandering through the narrow streets of this mountain town and quietly despairing that we were in the wrong place when needing a meal... How wrong we were, we followed this superb smell in the air to a quiet corner where we found a small building that was seemingly closed up but we wandered in anyway, and had a fantastic welcome from Umberto and Alessandra the owners of this brilliant little restaurant of which we were completely unaware
We were ushered in to a private dining room uniquely decorated and in good English were told what was available for that day - without going in to great detail, we enjoyed a gastronomic journey, And discovered several unique dishes not the least of which was the Torino cheese sourced from Umberto's friend in the village, soaked for two days in local white wine and gently pan fried. This was followed by Ravioli filled with fish and garnished with anchovies, Potato Gnocchi made with a special hazelnut flour, chicken with a beautiful Moscato sauce and Caponata Calabria, all polished off delightfully with a bottle of Marchese Umberto deal Carrello Barbera red...
Wow what a memory this will be for us!!!! Make sure you plan a visit !!!

We had read about this restaurant and how nice the owners were. These comments are absolutely correct. We have never been to any restaurant where we were immediately made to feel at home. Cristina and Fillipo are people who you feel like you known them your whole life. They are so welcoming and gracious. As Americans, we seldom meet people who really love what they are doing and love to feed people. This passion is what make the food so good and the experience memorable. I wish I could eat here every night although I might get too fat. The portions are not so large, but there are so many, you get to taste everything. When Cristina recited the menu, I was trying to remember all of the things she said so I could decide what to order. What a surprise when everything she said we were served. We had to stop eating every bit that we were served so we could make it to the end. Everything was carefully prepared and of very high quality. We drank Fillipo's Barbera d'asti for dinner and finished with his grappa. Bruno is a small village of 340 people, but for anyone wanting to experience the best Italy has to offer, you should make the trek to this restaurant. We have eaten at Michellin starred restaurants but enjoyed this restaurant as much or more.

Like always we received a warm and friendly welcome by the beautiful Elena! Beautiful settings and great atmosphere. Franca's dishes were superb at the very least. Bagna Cauda and Tortino di Cardi were delicious as well as the Risotto with sausage and Barbera wine. Another favorite, the dolce al cucchiaio with amaretti. We drank the very excellent Notturno, (barbera)from Carlo Ferro's wineries. Once again we had an incredible experience, thank you Elena and Franca! We'll be back soon!

In Italy people like their restaurants to be rather traditional. In the larger cities you will find more trendy places but in the countryside you generally can expect restaurants to have a rustic-looking interior. Osteria Moderna Terzo Tempo - the name gives it away - is breaking with that tradition. Their interior is roomy and modern and slick and that is refreshing. For sure you wouldn't expect this kind of restaurant in a provincial town like Nizza Monferato.
The menu is a bit more traditional but the list is enormous: there really is a lot to chose from. We used this opportunity to get off the beaten tracks and try some new dishes. And we were not disappointed. It was all good. Really, very tasty. Very good quality while prices are moderate.
Service was excellent. Friendly, helpful (choosing a wine from their pages long list). For sure we will go back for more.
