Since 1994 Osteria del Teatro welcomes you with politeness and professionalism, offering typical Tuscan cuisine with a selection of tasty dishes. For a good lunch in Cortona or a romantic dinner visit our restaurant to discover the exquisite Cortona cooking pleasures! Our restaurant trattoria in Cortona allows you to enjoy tasty and sought-after dishes from Cortona in a unique setting: a 6th century building totally renovated and restored to original splendor. Three different settings welcome you in an elegant and very exclusive atmosphere: the first room reclaiming the typical features of the ancient inns of Tuscany, the second is characterized by a cozy contest, the third is enriched by precious frescoes which make your dinner or your lunch in Cortona intimate and romantic
Meeting friends coming from various directions, we chose Osteria del Teatro for lunch. Good choice. While hours are limited, it is worth the wait for lunch and my favorite pasta in all of Cortona. Great wine selection too, and our waiter recommended an excellent local Syrah. My pasta filled with pear and ricotta, with a pear and walnut sauce, was yummy. Enjoy!

We booked dinner on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying in and it was fantastic.
The hospitality was warm and generous , the food all freshly cooked and beautifully presented. The streak was very good and the duck superb. The wine recommendation complemented the food perfectly. In fact this was do good we went back on out last night and it was just as good the second time. Suggest get there at 19.30 and enjoy a drink as the sunsets - very highly recommended

My husband & I loved this restaurant in 2015 & returned this year. Once again they did not disappoint! We were wowed!! Incredible food presented beautifully & with so many flavors. They are a class act; from the decor to the welcome glass of prosecco the an amazing meal & after dinner drinks all for a very reasonable price! We were so happy to see Yuli & Tatiana again & have them as our Waitstaff as they too are exceptional! We will be back!!

Since 1983 the “Al Coccio” restaurant was located in Sansepolcro and from 1988 in Via Aggiunti in the ex sacristy of the Camaldolesi where Luca della Robbia established its name. In 1998 Sara Emanuela Battistelli came along and with plenty of passion, study and commitment she carried on his work involving everyone in the creation of a genuine cuisine using fresh, seasonal produce (no use of stocks or artificial flavour enhancers).
We ate lunch here two years ago and were keen to return. Al Cocchio didn't disappoint. We loved the little amuse bouches to start, and shared the pear flan which was light and delicious. My husband's steak was delicious, my guitar pasta with bacon and zucchini flowers not so nice, but this was just not to my taste, not their fault. We also ordered some beans but were a bit taken aback when these turned out to be white beans - we should have checked the Italian menu! For dessert I had the chocolate parfait and he had the white chocolate panacotta. These were both divine. We had two glasses of red wine - though they don't have any wines by the glass listed on their menu they brought us a choice of four unopened bottles. The wait staff are really friendly and helpful and it was great that they spoke some English which helped with our limited Italian. When we'd finished they brought us a truly delicious little handmade chocolate truffle. We would definitely return once again to al Coccio (will just make sure we choose more carefully next time!). The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely and the food terrific.

This is a little gem, hidden in the hills outside Sansepolcro. I loved the warm family welcome from the owner, who looks a little like Paul Newman!! Lunch is very traditional and the courses seem to keep coming, lots of crostini, pasta and wine! I would definitively go there again.

Caranbar never fails to deliver a wonderful dining experience. The food is always delicious, the owner who is warm and gracious is always helpful with suggestions and accommodating for some minor substitutions and the wine menu is great. The "house" is a Rosso di Montalcino. You cannot beat the value.

Farm and wine estate in Tuscany serving several lunch options. Please call for details.
Having found this little gem online and ordered a number of items from them it was definitely on our 'to do' list when visiting Tuscany.
We contacted them by email and booked a lunch and what a treat that was.
We were greeted at our cars by little golf buggies who drove us up the hill to our lunch location which consisted of a large table set for the guests under a picturesque fig tree.
The staff offered us samples of their prosecco which was accompanied by a large selection of antipasti. We then took our seats where we were greeted by a choice of white wines, more antipasti then our wild boar pasta to start. This was cleared and more wine, this time red, brought to the table and our main course. Upon finishing the main course, the dessert wine followed with a selection of their desserts/biscuits.
After a leisurely 3 hour lunch we then were offered a tour of the farm itself which included yet more samples of their delicious wines.
Would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody in the area. It was well worth the hour and a half drive and I look forward to receiving my next order from them!

We stayed at La Lodola and ate at the Osteria couple of times. The food was outstanding, they use fresh, excellent quality ingredients. Emanuela recommended different wines fort various dishes we tried. Each wine was excellent and paired perfectly with the food we chose.

We ate 4 times in this trattoria. Their homemade pasta is delicious.
We have two little children, so for us it is important that we can order and quickly get food, that is possible in this restaurant if you come early.
Pleasant service and good house wine :-) The last evening we had two worms in our food (mushrooms) ... and a lot of apologies :D
