This is one of 2 favorite restaurants I love going to. Our standard fare is the fried zucchini and onion appetizer then the gnocchi bolognese then either the coffee tenderloin or the honey tenderloin. The espresso and cappuccino is a nice finale. While being on...MoreI love it!Thank you♡

Our Beach Front Restaurant offers indoor (A/C) and outdoor dining experience. Our menu is based on Contemporary Costa Rican cuisine with a personalized touch by our talented chef. Private events and groups are welcome. Our philosophy is to enhance each visit with a unforgettable dining experience at PACIFICO. Cheers!
The restaurant is a nice, if somewhat schizophrenic space (there's large screen TVs by the bar within a somewhat fine-dining setting). This place doesn't know what it wants to be. There's burgers ($15) and club sandwiches along with chef specialties $20-30). The food was mediocre and the prices were too high given the quality and serving size. Water was $11 per bottle. Coke $4. The ice cream was dry and flaky ... very strange. The service was efficient and friendly, but frankly, this place was just not worth the price and was totally disappointing. Go to Abbocato for better food, setting, service if you're looking for a fine dining in Guanacaste.

Open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner with garden with candle light and air conditioning inside...
I do t see what people see in this place. It is in the publito so the breeze does not get in there. Very stuffy. Meant people walked in and ended leaving as they were never acknowledged. We had a pizza which tastes like a $3 frozen pizza in the states. We had a party of 9. One person who had prime rib never did get their potato. Another got their salad and meal at same time. As for getting a drink the waiter said we’d have to ask the other guy. No way would we return

It’s so nice returning to Citron and seeing the same wonderful staff and menu. We make a point of making this one of the first restaurants we go to and always our last before leaving. Favorites are the Beef and ginger bowl, pork tenderloin, both of the sea bass items actually never had anything not good.

We bought many items here, all fresh cooked daily that we took on our day trips and for snacks for our room. Great coconut and banana bread. Also they open at 4:30 am for breakfast. Don't let the outside fool you. A great bakery +

Gourmet Fast Food
This unassuming little outdoor soda is along Central Avenue in El Coco, a few blocks up the street from the beach. Give the place a try, you won't be sorry! The outside Seating area is very clean and there are big fans to cool you off while you eat. Staff is very friendly and they speak good English so you really have no excuse not to try them out.
They serve a variety of delicious homemade burgers, as well as hot dogs and chicken fingers and even poutine. I had the Tico Burger and it did not disappoint. It was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. The burger and an ice cold soda set me back $8 USD. And worth every penny.
I will definitely be eating here again before my vacation ends!

We read the reviews before coming here and we were not disappointed by the food. We ordered the fish of the day-grilled red snapper-which was grilled to perfection served on a bed of olives, tomatoes and fresh basil and served alongside grilled vegetables. We started off with a glass of white sangria. They served an appetizer of tomatoes and bread with onions. Only two points of disappointment: 1. The white sangria was terrible (way too sweet) so we didn’t drink any of it. When the bill came, they charged us an additional $2 from what was on the menu. When we inquired, they told us the supplement (not in the menu!) was because it was white (vs red). This was a bit annoying especially since it was terrible and they didn’t compensate us in any way (a shame since $8 for a glass of white sangria in Costa Rica was a bit excessive). The other annoying point (for us personally) was they had a very annoying and loud, live singer in the courtyard who was terrible! Apparently he sings every Friday and Sunday night, so forewarned, if you are not interested in hearing a Costa Rican badly impersonating Beatles, Tom Jones and Elton John songs, avoid coming Friday or Sunday nights and avoid the very sweet white sangria. The fish and vegetables were outstanding!!
