Went with my wife for a rare dinner for two.
The service was charming throughout from the welcome to departure. There were a couple of staff under tuition who clearly wanted to do their best - particularly the young man.
The food was good, I had a lobster dish as a starter which didn't really work, but the lobster was well cooked. My wife faired better with a crab cocktail.
Good bread.
The wine list was interesting with lots of good local wine to choose from. The desserts looked interesting but we refrained and went for the cheese board which was well conditioned and diverse. The coffee was excellent as were the choice of digestives.
Nice atmosphere and I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful evening at Restaurant La Maison last evening. Two of us started with the smoked Haddock in a creamy sauce ant topped with a perfectly poached egg,it was fabulous, my wife had a ham and chicken pate which she enjoyed as well. For our main my wife had the Cannette which she is still raving about, our daughter enjoyed the skate while had the pave of veal. Each dish was not only perfectly cooked but was also wonderfully presented, each plate was a piece of art. Desserts consisted of fresh fruit, apple tarte and ice cream. The service was attentive even though the restaurant was full.

Had another great meal with marvellous service once more.Booked it by e mail some weeks before.Glad we did because if not we would not have got in.Several were turned away. Three of us had three courses, troll beer And wine. All well explained by the charming waitress. Same chef as previous year. Can see why it's popular.

Atmosphere , like an old train station in Far West age , where staff and service are not involved with guest.
Appreciated , no long menu but , expecations was not so satisfy!
Little details to take care as , bread that , considering restaurant level, must be in compliance and also ,price little bit high !!
Satisfactory list of wines!

Great lunch spot in the "old town" section of Pezenas. Even in mid-March they offer Al-fresco dining. Great variety of main meal crepes and gauffes. Lunch for three consisted of artichoke, ham and chevre crepe, a asparagus crepe with two different cheeses, and a red pepper, tomato, and chorizo crepe. All were yummy! Prior to meal we were served dish with olives, and muffin squares w/jelly. Dessert consisted of a milk chocolate and caramel crepe which the ladies agreed was "to die for". Post lunch we were served marshmallow on a stick dipped in chocolate. Add a carafe of house wine, espresso, and tea and we were good to go. Great attention to detail and wonderful service from Julie. I'm sure this place "rocks" in summer. A great spot to introduce people to Pezenas.....

The restaurant is a cool mix of indoor/outdoors. We ate upstairs on the Terrace which is really unusual and very atmospheric. I would definitely request this area. The menu is limited but in my experience that means only one thing.... it is all cooked fresh, to order. The dishes are interesting, innovative but above all, delicious. Our waitress was fabulous . She was warm, friendly and efficient and spent time making sure we had exactly the right wine for our requirements. Now service is not speedy here but that is because there is an expectation that you will not only savour your food but also each other's company. Highly recommended

Great find on a cold wet October night. The owners are brothers...one the chef the other front of house. Entrecote with seasonal vegetables were cooked to perfection. The owner who served us spoke very good english. We enjoyed so much we returned the night after. Highly recommend

Ate here as family of four on a Wednesday evening which is late opening in Pezenas, hence very busy streets. We ate outside so lovely spot for people watching.
Food was very good indeed and reasonably priced. Big downside was service which, whilst friendly, was desperately slow. They need to hire an extra person for busy evenings, as this will hold them back (we saw one table of four leave as it took so long to place an order)

We can not stay in the South without succumbing to the many flavors of Mediterranean cuisine . In an original and warm setting, discover the friendliness of the wine bar and celebrate the Languedoc terroirs through dishes and regional wines inspirations : Corbières wines - red , full-bodied and spicy - with Muscat de Frontignan , passing by fruity white Picpoul .
The restaurant was very welcoming allowing you to select your own wine from the bottles around the wall all of which are very reasonably priced. The menu was very good with local specialities and very creative ( in a good way ) selections. We had gazpacho soup as starter whilst my colleague had a selection of delicious cheeses. The bread was crusty and warm. I then had the duck which had been cooked in honey and red wine and was done with a mushroom risotto and my colleague had the fish. We could make the desert as the first two courses were so filling. Stunning tastes and supported by an excellent red wine. Very good and excellent value for money at 80 Euros.

Having read reviews we decided to pay a visit. At end of road, near the centre. Attractive and atmospheric interior. Hadn't booked & obviously popular but we were lucky to get last table, even though only 7pm. Friendly staff who tried to explain in French and English that we must order dessert with our mains if we wanted one. Strange as we did not know if we would be full or not so decided not to! We all had large galettes with tasty interesting fillings, washed down with cider served in the tradtional pottery cups. A pleasant time, quick service but strange ordering system
