Five Star Hotel Restaurant, La Luna offers a totally relaxed atmosphere, serving mostly Costa Rican gourmet cousine with some international alternatives, in general, with lower prices that other restaurants in the Manuel Antonio - Quepos Area and currently the only Restaurant with a Costa Rican Gourmet Menu. Happy hour offers an array of tapas from 4 to 6 pm offers and a magnificent view of the Ocean, the Mountains with a 360 degree view of the area.

This is a great location but the food did not live up to the setting and the prices are well over the top. We had two starters, one main and one dessert plus two glasses of wine. This cost 70 US dollars, our most expensive meal in Costa Rica. The food was OK but nothing special, the sun's at11 dollars a glass was poor and not properly chilled.
I rarely write bad reviews as change seen by my other reviews, but this was poor.

Our dishes are accompanied with green seasonal salads and seasonal fresh sauteed veggies as well as our famous Caribbean Rice ‘en Beans which is cooked with homemade organic coconut milk. Our bar is beautiful with an excellent wine selection as well as unique house-crafted cocktails and craft beer on Tap!! We are located in the heart of Esterillos Oeste, three doors west of the soccer field on the road between Super Sol and the Soccer Field. We are open from 4 pm - 10 pm and are closed on Sundays. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash in US Dollars or local currency (Colones).

Very beautiful spot underneath beach "almendro" trees, The bar has a great selection of craft beers and creative mixed drink menu, as well as local Kombucha! The menu has a interesting fusion of Caribbean and asian cuisine with many choices for vegetarian options. the Pad Thai was my favorite dish, also veggies and tofu in Jerk sauce!
best taste, service and value on Central Pacific Coast!

I had the sea bass and my wife got the chicken fingers. Boy was she upset at her choice because my sea bass was excellent and while she enjoyed the chicken fingers she kept eyeing my fish and rice and beans.

If you are looking for an Authentic Costa Rican meal El Arado is your place! We have no hamburgers or pizza on the menu. Only traditional home cooked meals. Tell your taxi driver we are located on the old road to Manuel Antonio 100 meters south of the hotel Villa Teca.

We initially stopped by for a cocktail while waiting for our hotel to get our room ready but were met with such kindness we decided to stay a bit longer and ended up having lunch as well. We split the fish casado and the only mistake with that is that is was SO good we both could have eaten our own. When my friends aunt arrived a few days later (she's a CR resident) it was priority for us to bring her there. She loved it! The owner who also doubles as a server took care of us for the night. The dinner menu was hard to choose from, everything looked delicious. I decided on the tuna and pineapple wrap and was not disappointed. Hands down the best wrap I have had thus far in my life. Despite how delicious the food was what really stuck with me is how genuinely kind, happy and welcoming the gentleman (the owner) who served us is. His smile lit up the room!

Small bar/restaurant with a beautiful view of the pristine beach at Esterillos Este. Live American style music. Food was pretty good, not great. Service was friendly and good. Family friendly. Despite location right on the water, amazingly NO ocean breezes and it was quite warm sitting outside there in the evening. Ceiling fans were on but did not seem to generate any air flow.

The food was delicious, although the ribs we ordered were not in a rack like I expected, they were pretty good and the fillet mignon was amazing and at a great price. It is really clean and the waitresses were really nice.
Keep in mind this is an open restaurant, so if its hot out, although it has big roof, it will be hot there as well. The waitress put a huge fan by us to hwlp us with the heat, and since there are no walls, to keep any insects off our plates. A really good experience over all.
Added bonus, they have a pool area in the back of the restaurant with kiddie pool and slide, which will cost you 2,000 colones ($4) to use. Also there some hammacks to lay down.

We went there for a last dinner in CR based on the reviews and we were blown away. We ordered ceviche with hearts of palm, chicken with mushroom, peppered steak, and banana dessert. Everything was FANTASTIC! This is a place to GO! Can't miss it!

Can’t say enough about our dinner here. It was the perfect open air setting in the middle of the marina. The staff went above and beyond to care for every need, request, question. They walked us through photos of food options as well as guided us in the right direction when trying to make a final decision. What a great night and I’d recommend it many times over.

AMAZING!!!! I love the vibe of the place it is a relaxed casual place that is perfect for family and friends! There shwarmas are so good. I recommend the chicken shwarma! The smoothies there are also amazing! I had the pineapple mango and pineapple mint smoothie, it was so refreshing! One of the best smoothies I've ever had! Staff there are really nice! Totally recommend this place. Pure Vida style!!!!!

We were staying in clandestino beach resort and tried lots of places around parita, quepos and uvita and this was, by far, the best meal we had. We started with pescado ceviche, and for main course mariscada and pescado mar y sol. Everything was excellent. The service is good and the place is clean and welcoming. Well done!!!
