Pardubice Region (Czech: Pardubický kraj; Polish: Kraj pardubicki) is an administrative unit (Czech: kraj) of the Czech Republic, located mainly in the eastern part of its historical region of Bohemia, with a small part in northwestern Moravia. It is named after its capital Pardubice. As an administrative unit, Pardubice Region has in the course of history existed three times. It was established for the first time in 1850, and extended from Český Brod to the Bohemian-Moravian border. In its second existence, it was one of 19 regions as they were set between 1949 and 1960. After 1960, Pardubice became the capital of Pardubice district, which made part of the Eastern Bohemian Region (capital Hradec Králové). The Pardubice Region as it is now was reestablished in 2000.

Trip Advisor guided us to Bohem and we were still surprised to find such a lovely contemporary restaurant in Litomysl! It had simple and beautiful modern decor, good food, and really excellent wine. The first night we had dinner there we were very surprised at the white glove service, which was a little out of place. We shared a tasty and large Mediterranean salad followed by some good local dishes and a delicious
pana cotta desert with wonderful cappuccino. The Czech red wine Neronet from Hrabal vineyards was the best of our trip to the Czech Republic. The service was pretty good this first visit. We went back our second night just to enjoy a bottle of the red wine with cheese since was had dined with some Czech friends in their home that evening. Arriving about 8:45 pm we found different servers and rather indifferent service. The woman who did wait on us took away our cloth napkins since we ordered only wine and cheese, and seemed more interested in efficiently cleaning other tables than tending to customers. In all we would still recommend this restaurant as by far the best in Litomysl.

Recently entertained a client here after arriving at our hotel late on a Monday and this being the closest establishment to our accommodation.
Quirky interior, but our waitress was quite rude and the food was average at best. The lamb shank was the greasiest piece of lamb that I have ever eaten and it was overcooked. The accompanying potatoes and greens were cooked in far too much Dijon mustard for my liking. I decided not to complain as I didn't want to make a fuss on the first night out with a customer, so just made the most of it.
The prices here are very expensive, especially when compared to the other nearby restaurant choices and the quality is way below the local standard of the other three restaurants dined in during the week.
I won't be returning.

This is a well known restaurant chain and the quality is pretty reliable no matter what town you're in so we went while visiting Pardubice to avoid surprises. Good value for money, Czech and international dishes, lots of beer options, fast service. If you go for lunch, there is a daily (cheaper) lunch specials menu as well.

We have visited this place today since it got great review on air in CZ Kitchen nightmares and it was worth it.
The building is very nice surrounded by beautiful rustic houses and spectacular piece of land.
We tryed duck broth - could have been lil bit stronger but otherwise very good and homemade. Than we had beef tartar which was delicious - one of the best Ive ever eaten.
As a main course we had trout with lime sauce and duck with dumplings and cabbage, everything was very tasty, maybe just the trout needed little bit more salt and to be better unboned.
All members of staff were friendly, they just could be little bit faster.
Overall nice place to spend ur lunch & afternoon.

Beautiful decor, staff service quick, friendly and in english made perfect by the excellent meal the entire group enjoyed. I can fully recommend the restaurant in hotel Aplaus, which offers standard international cuisines as well as some traditional Czech dishes.

There is a big Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic, however there are only few restaurants serving Ukrainian food - U Kolji is one of them. Location of this restaurant (outside the historic center - facing ugly socialist era concrete housing estate) isn´t very attractive as well as a bit kitschy interior design, but once you take a place you´ll be pleasantly surprised by the professional service and excellent ukrainian food. We tried borscht soup (70 CZK) and cabbage rolls Golubci (135 CZK) together with moravian Pinot Noir - it was a superb lunch. If you are planning a trip to Litomyšl, don´t miss this place...
