We stopped by Rustam's strawberry inn after reviewing on trip advisor. We ordered for Chicken Dhansak, rice, dal and strawberry with cream. Chicken dhansak came along with brown rice. All the dishes were good. the place looked recently done up. It was clean. we did not find any outdoor Seating though we were there for lunch. Its a decent family joint.

Very Old and famous for Ice-cream & Deserts. It has good variety with different flavors. You can customize your desert as you wish with available flavors. Little Expensive but taste is good. Must visit place.
This is a brand new restaurant with a covered outdoor Seating found on the main Panchgani- Mahabaleshwar Road. Food is very good and fresh and the staff though still in training , is extremely polite and helpful. A charming and hospitable place

Enjoyed the pure vegetarian Gujarati thali with hot food that was neither too spicy or too oily. Felt like home food at a very reasonable price.

Purohit's Namaste is part of the famous Purohit's Group in Panchgani who also have a Resort which is opposite this Restaurant and a popular Lunch Home as well that serves Gujarati Thali which is very nearby and opposite the famous Lucky Restaurant. This is a fairly new Restaurant at a very good location on the main road right next to the Post Office and has good signage and visibility. Although the actual Restaurant is very small, they have taken over an open area outside the Restaurant where they have put up a Shamiana & placed plastic Tables & Chairs for customers to be seated. The building is part of a Shopping Centre Area, but a few cars can be parked outside the Restaurant or in the adjacent Pay & Park area. They also have a small enclosed Seating area with 4 tables to seat max 16 customers, but most patrons prefer to sit in the open area, as it has a better ambience. They basically serve all Vegetarian South Indian Snacks & Food, all of which is freshly prepared & tasty. The service is quite prompt and the rates are very reasonable as well, which is why it is a very popular place. Being the only Udipi Type of Restaurant in Panchgani, it is bound to do well & is a must visit place for Fresh & Tasty South Indian Food whenever you are in the area.

Rasoi is located between Hotel Cliff Inn & Hotel Ravine, just off the main road with ample parking space. It has large Seating and parking space. Serves Gujarati Vegetarian food during Lunch and dinner and also makes home Delivery. Priced reasonably. I believe Rasoi is owned by the same person who owns Shantilal's Store who also serve South Iindian fare at their main location behind Shivaji Chowk in the main market.

Lucky Bakery & Restaurant is an Old Irani Establishment & although it is very basic and has limited Seating, it is very popular for Breakfast & Snacks. Since Seating is limited, you may have to wait a while to be seated & will also have to share your table with others. The waiters are locals and not well trained, so don't expect high quality service, as you may have to remind them about your order and you may not always get what you order in the correct sequence. We continue to patronize this place for the excellent Masala/Cheese Omelets, Brun Maska, Chicken Rolls & Special Irani Chai that they serve, all of which are very tasty. They are open in the morning from 8am to 1pm & in the evening from 4pm to 8pm. All their bakery items come out fresh from the ovens only after 12 noon, so if you go late for breakfast in the mornings, you may not always get their Brun, which is a specialty. Their quality is always consistent & this is what keeps all their regular patrons coming back. It is indeed a one of a kind place in Panchgani & continues to be very popular. Surely a must visit every time that we are in the area.

Dont order anything other than aloo parathas if you stop here - anything else (gobi, paneer) will be essentially aloo + a tiny smattering of the gobi or paneer. Deep fried, giant portions - very filling but nothing like what parathas are meant to be
