We are an authentic Italian restaurant located just outside the resort town of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The property is an original plantation house that also houses an art gallery featuring famous local works of art.
Recently visited Toscanini twice during our stay at Couple Sans Souci. Very nice that they will pick you up and return with no wait. The lobster was great as always but the Italian dishes were over the top. We always get a bottle of wine...MoreThanks for your loyalty and patronage! We hope our fisherman continue to satisfy your taste of the sea! Until next time! best, Lella, PG, and the Toscanini Team

Set in an authentic 1860 Historic Gingerbread House, overlooking Ocho Rios, Evita's opened in 1989 and has established a reputation for great service, ambiance, decor, view and excellent Italian and Jam-Italian 'fun' creations. All food is cooked to order. Celebrities keep frequenting Evita's as they really enjoy it's romantic atmosphere and, also appreciate, 'value for money'....Occasionally there is live entertainment, usually, a 'guest star' appearance.
A really sweet spot just up on the hill above Ocho Rios with a lovely view over the trees towards the sea. A wide variety of Italian dishes pastas, salads, desserts. Very nice cozy spot and if you have a chance to meet the owner...MoreThank you, twigitha, for your excellent review and compliment!!! I am really happy you enjoyed Evita's and look forward to hosting you again, soon....so that you can try some more of Evita's 'creative' dishes.... Ciao! Eva

We arrived to Ocho Rios on our cruise ship. After our excursion to Blue Mountain we hired our driver for the rest of the day. We asked him to bring us to sample some authentic Jamaican cuisine and boy did he hit it right! Delicious fresh Jerk chicken and fried bread ... Yum... great outdoor casual atmosphere perfect for our relaxed vacation attire! Great price, around $7 US for a large portion of chicken and 2 fried bread sticks and a soft drink! Friendly staff and clean facility.

Moms is not the best in decor, but it has good, tasty food. The locals kept coming in to buy their meals and they seemed to be satisfied. The food was served at the right temperature, amount was sufficient and the price was reasonable.
Service was a little on the slow side, but we watched TV while waiting for food to come out.
The furnishings are not the best- but the food makes up for it.
I would definitely eat there again.
I was told they also do popular local breakfasts- did not get to try it though.

Tasty, filling, inexpensive. My favorite is beef, but have also tried chicken, shrimp. The British meat pies are bland by comparison. We give this place the highest rating for pies - we're not talking fine dining.

A casual outdoor restaurant with great food. It was also interesting to watch the fires that were used in the cooking process. It was a nice mix of locals and tourists. As it is along a rather barren stretch of road between Mo Bay and Ocho Rios, it was a perfect place to stop and eat. Everything that our party of 4 had was delicious.

Very relaxing since it wasn't a busy night when we visited Spring Garden. The food was excellent. The husband got the snapper and I got the shrimp platter. Also started off with the calamari. The fruit smoothies they make are quite delicious too. The service was impeccable. We had a gentleman and unfortunately I don't remember his name to give him a shout out right now. He always checked to see how everything was and offered alternatives to meet our needs. Would visit again :) Thank you for the lovely evening.

Anna-Kay Tomlinson, affectionately known as "Miss T," opened Miss T’s Kitchen in May 2009, fulfilling her lifelong dream of creating a truly authentic Jamaican dining experience. Her passion for cooking, knowledge of Caribbean herbs and spices and years of catering experience resulted in her blending the tastes, smells, sights and sounds of her island home into an unforgettable cultural celebration. She has created a restaurant that is exemplary of all things Jamaican: the rustic country cuisine, the colourful culture, and the great outdoors. There are no walls at Miss T’s Kitchen—just a roof held up by tree-like posts decorated with red fairy lights. “No walls” describes the real Miss T, too. Anna-Kay Tomlinson is a self-taught chef who turned her enthusiasm into one of best restaurants in Ocho Rios, one whose reputation grows stronger every year.
I recently visited Miss T’s restaurant for my birthday with my partner and our small son.... from booking to leaving the restaurant was a pleasant experience. Glenroy took our booking and knowing it was my birthday he made a real great effort when we arrived. He was very helpful and attentive. The food was amazing, quirky and reasonably priced. I loved the ambience and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The whole team including the chef came out to sing Happy Birthday to me with a cake, banging their saucepan lids. Such a lovely time. Thank you so much for everything Glenroy. A birthday to remember. Will definitely be back.

Great views of the town after taking a tour through the rain forest. The rum punch really punched. Can take pictures yourself or they're taken and printed for you there and there. Be careful of offers to smoke a joint at the parking lot unless that's your thing. Great music and great place to take it all in.
