Went for breakfast whilst staying at the Hotel opposite, very child friendly, rare details like the fact that the hot chocolate, which is called Kids Capuchino is of perfect children drinking temperature, the fact that the kids breakfast is served faster than the adults to keep them busy, the overall wealth of choice of breakfast menues by "geo-style", and the friendly staff made this a truly perfect family brekfast away from home...

When going here you'll be surprised of the location right beside the flood crossing town. The sound of water round the rocks, the buzz of talk generated by the crowd, the heating under the parasols it all contributes to raise expectations. So is the old fashioned inside 'gemütlig' decorated with low ceilings and lots of woodwork.
Unfortunately you never can be sure that the kitchen is on top. Small details like a not properly cooked chicken breast are a sign of poor attention. The waiter is responsive and offers a cup of coffee or a scoop of ice-cream, but when you're longing for your main dish and lost appetite. A small discount was left upon leaving, but it does not match the damage done to the experience.
At other times this venue offered reasonable food and is reasonably priced.

There are few tourists in Ulm in March. On the basis of reviews in tripadvisor, I sort out this restaurant for a full midday meal. I was not disappointed. The restaurant itself is charming and well situated. The prices are extremely reasonable; the service, pleasant...MoreDear TMarchive , many thanks for your assessment. Best regards Wilhelm Schubert

Thankfully our German friends had made Reservations since the place was packed for lunch. It's crowded with low ceilings and door frames, but strangely, it wasn't noisy and we didn't feel cramped. The food was excellent--chunky pumpkin soup, a vegetarian dish which was many different kinds of mushrooms in a delightful sauce with dumplings. We were totally satisfied with the atmosphere and meal.

We had already had lunch at the Ratskeller but after walking around the old part of Ulm we were looking for a place to have a drink. We stopped in a Gerber Haus and each had a beer. The service was friendly, the beer was cold, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

So, I'm not a huge fan of Sicilian wine, but this wine selection was well worth the visit. The staff were fully engaged with a fantastic selection of main courses. The food presentation was excellent to above average but tasted outstanding. The restaurant ambiance was appropriate but not overdone.

I was invited to the Sunday brunch and the starters were very varied with fish, meat, salads plus weisswurst and fried eggs with bacon. The main course was freshly grilled pork, beef, Turkey and salmon steaks with the large assortment of salads. I cannot comment on the price as I was invited. The service was excellent with a very friendly staff and the empty plates were cleared away quickly. The one drawback was that the brunch was on the 1st floor and I did not see a lift for disabled people. The starters and desserts are on the ground floor and the Seating is on the 1st floor

Well worth a visit, great food and Bier. We were advised, by our hotel, that this location had better atmosphere the one in Ulm, across the river. All six of us had a good time and we understand that, on weekends you may likely have an hour wait for a table.

We are regulars here for a small dinner of pasta or occasionally and to the disdain of my wife a pizza with a glass of wine. The daily changing menu always has nice varying pasta dishes where I usually find what I like. If not its pizza which is good quality. In the summer one can sit outside on a Terrace which can be very pleasant. Prices are fair for the quality of the food.
