Had a great evening with friends, excellent food and drinks. Very good atmosphere and excellent service. Menu had all the options..western,mexican, indian food and we ordered most of them. On weekends BBQ is arranged in open and heard its good. Pool table is good with few TV here and there. Lacking is the seatings, as we 8 had to use the stool for a long evening,

A great bar to unwind and eat western style food. Saturday night buffet is a bargain with 2 drinks included in the price and a large variety of unlimited hot and cold food. Location is convenient and sports tv and a pool table there

This place is a very friendly little bar located in the centre of Nantong. Staff are excellent and a mixed clientele of expats and locals. Prices also probably among the cheapest in town. Menu is pretty basic but the burgers are delicious and they offer Australian pies which are a novelty in Nantong. Outside Seating area allows you to people watch in comfort.

There are about 10 of these "Theme" restaurants in and around Nantong and they offer a wide range of local dishes especially fish. There is no theme but for the use of an odd English name - go figure!
However, I wanted spicy so we had some delicious "little spicy" and "spicy" dishes from the EXTENSIVE menu. The Shui zhu nui rou (double chili beef in blow away deliciously spicy soup) was awesome and the Gong bao ji ding was also great - we had the Shan yao mu er (mushroom and some sort of tuber) as vegetable - yummy
Great value and good food were what was asked for and what was delivered

This is apparently a chain of restaurants although it was my first time to visit one. Waiting outside for them to text to tell us a table was available, it was pretty hard going as a jarring message plays over and over in Mandarin to tell you that Grandma is calling you to dinner. Thankfully this does not play inside. One at the table you notice just how very busy and popular the place is, but they have it all split up into large rooms, so you never have the full impact of the entire crowd all talking. Food is brought quickly and efficiently regardless of how busy it is – the staff clearly working very hard on the floor and kitchen.
Food was very good quality, and most dishes were around 40-50 RMB which is very good price for the food. English is limited, and not everything has pictures, so ordering will be difficult without Mandarin speakers, however it is still good enough to have a go.
