Others have spoken of the freshness of the food, the farm to table aspect, great setting, reasonable price and how helpful Okan is whose mother cooks while he attends to the guests. In addition we spent time with the mother in the kitchen watching her make the food which she does with care and love. Firstly a very nice family and they deserve the support of discerning travelers . This place is not for groups or bus tours. The food is what they eat so you can't get more authentic than that.
A wonderful experience in a work of bad Kebabs..go..you won't regret it but make sure make a reservation..everything is cooked to order.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of ourhotel, and he was spot on with this recommendation. This place is absolutely fabulous. We picked a few mezes (haydari, eggplant/tomatoes/peppers, and sauteed red bell peppers) to start with. All were excellent and much more garlicky than the typical Turkey mezes (yum!). We had the meat fresh from the ocakbasi (meatballs, steaks and ribs). All of it was excellent and so much better than the meat we get in Istanbul. The waiter said this is because the cows are grazing on "dag kekik" (thyme) on the Mountains. They also serve alcoholic beverages, service is great, and the price was very reasonable considering all the food we got! Trust me, you have to go here if you're in the Cappadocia area!

Had dinner there this past weekend... It's small cosy restaurant with a wonderful shop just downstairs. The owner & the staff are great and treat you like family.
Go there if you want to try some good local food.
It's named after a dog, which makes it even more special.

I've had several dinners at the Old Greek House and it has remained at the top of my list in Capadoccia. Patient, generous service; Mustafapasa isn't one of the main stops on the tour and because of that it feels calm and welcoming. Delicious multi-course meals with many choices. The only thing I'd change is the harsh lighting. The architecture deserves something cozier.

Sofra Restaurant presents the most delicious Turkish specials in a cosy environment.
Their Testi Kebab is awesome. I found the meat to be soft and tender with a bit of bite to it. The sauce that accompanied it is not too overpowering and just right. The restaurant has their customers break the pot open. I wish I took a video of it. The lentil soup is also very delicious. This is the perfect dinner for me as I end my trip at Cappadocia.

Got back from a day out later than expected so decided to eat before returning to our hotel. Arrived c7pm to find buffet dinner almost finished. Grateful that they took us and that we were not then rushed. The limited choice of dishes could perhaps best be described as wholesome but not good news for a non-meater. All perfectly edible but unimaginative. At 30TL, though, for as much as one wants to eat, not too much to complain about. We were upstairs indoors. Perhaps it is all more exciting in the summer.

We share our passion for cooking with our guests at Muti Restaurant. We take pleasure in creating new authentic tastes by combining Ottoman and Mediterranean cuisine. It is a journey of exploration for us to create our own unique flavours by mixing finest quality ingredients. We would like to welcome you to Muti's.
It was a delicious night, but the restaurant was too cold. Prices are more than average, so It's not acceptable that being cold inside the restaurant. I think Muti try to save money by behaving like this!! Solve it please...
