At MONDORF, we work exclusively with fresh and seasonal products to guarantee healthy, good quality dishes. The menu in the De Jangeli restaurant is concocted entirely in house. The Chef serves fine French cuisine that combines quality and flavours. He revisits the great classics of Luxembourg tables with finesses. The wine list holds a number of treasures in store selected by our sommelier.
Saturday evening taking the set tasting menu. Its trying to be a top restaurant but bits and pieces don't quite work, the service is OK nothing special, ditto with the wine selection (thought the serving was quite generous by comparison to other places). The food was a bit predictable for haute cuisine with little having any genuine wow factor which I would be expecting for the price they are serving at. Much like the Thermes themselves a bit stuck in the past.

The location is very close to the therma area of the village.
The menu offer a quite big selection of Italian dishes (pasta, pizza, cheese, seefood and meat).
Quality of food is in the average of Italian Restaurant outside Italy.
Service a little bit slow.
Bill quite competitive

My wife and myself like the good things and I must admit that we ate in many many wonderful places, enjoying wonderful food... But here, it's a complete another story... "Les Roses" is, to our view, THE BEST restaurant in Luxembourg! and believe us, we...MoreDear Géraldine and Vince, Your review is absolutely amazing. A good friend and I were here just about seven years ago and wanted to return. Dinner last night was just as good as seven years ago. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and Lea Linster herself spends time with the guests and personally serves the cheese course. We had the Lea Linster menu with wine accompaniment. Each course was delicious, even if as some others have written, the portions could be slightly bigger, in particular the main course. Each dish was an interesting combination of ingredients and flavors.

We went to this restaurant with a group of five. It is important to call before for a reservation. The food is incredible with much food in the plates. Great quality and a good service. Several options to choose, good for friends, couples and families. Fast service always with a smile. Correct prices and prefect desserts. We would like to repeat!

Look at all these rave reviews. Its incredible! Obviously a wonderful place to go without hesitation.... But what are they finding there? A very friendly welcome from the owner, for sure. He is a real pro at this, and at self-promotion in general. The menu is classical, lets say it offers the types of dishes that provincial families will want for Sunday lunch, because they were fashionable 20 years ago. Apart from that, nothing exceptional here. The large rustic and slightly dingy restaurant works pretty ordinary products from the local wholesaler, nothing more. Everything is ok, nothing more. Fried mushrooms could be delicious, but why mix wild girolles with industrially raised varieties? Why are they mushy rather than vividly crisp? Why is there so little seasoning? What is perplexing is this constant desire than things would be done just that little bit better, to show that the chef actually cares and that this is a real restaurant, not just the shadow of one.

Food; setting and ambience definitely very positively French. Great brasserie style dishes with some excellent, delicious salads on the menu. All that cooked to perfection and priced reasonably. Very friendly and involved patrons although attentiveness of the rest of the staff can vary at times. Enjoy all that either on the large patio or in the restaurant inside.

You don't come here only to eat and drink but to have a memorable experience of fine dining.
Compliments to the chef Mr. Bau who surprises his gourmet guests for many years with creative and innovative haute cuisine. Light French dishes with an Asian touch. (Menu Paris-Tokyo)
Service and decoration is also perfect .
The sommelière has good information to give about the great wines served.
The amount of money spent is worth this great and unique fine dining experience.
The allinclusive menu Paris-Tokyo with wine pairing is around 300 Euros pp. (water and coffee incl.)
They also have another option which is called "carte blanche" = surprise menu with 3 (small glasses of wine) for a little less than 200 Euros pp.
The restaurant is situated on the German/Lux. border in a nice old castle.
Great and outstanding restaurant :)

We had a typical 3-hour Luxembourg lunch on Sunday. The menu selection was large. In addition to pizza & pasta, they offer a decent selection of French and Luxembourgish dishes. I had the veloute of asparagus for an entree. It was not just a soup where they dip in an asparagus. It was filled with chunks of fresh white asparagus. Unfortunately, we had to wait nearly 40 minutes before our main course arrived. The escalope of veal with creme champignon was tender and delicious. The wine selection was nice. The portions were generous. The staff was friendly and the prices about average. Everything would have been excellent if our food had just arrived quicker.

Worthy of the finest Parisian brasseries, the Maus Kätti bistro features a menu reviewed entirely by our Chef. He reworks classic dishes such as vol-au-vent or roast meat at an ever so affordable price for our greatest pleasure. The Old Thermal Baths atmosphere of the Domaine Thermal provides an added touch for the charm of this brasserie, where services is always most welcoming all the way to the Terrace, ideal for some rest under the century-old lime tree. Before setting of to discover the thermal park, make sure to try one of fine cakes with the flavours of yore.
Situated in the Mondorf Park Hotel grounds. Accommodated 9 of my colleagues mid week. Good range of food and wine. I had the thick cut smoked salmon, veal escalope with fries and chocolate pudding with a melting centre. All was lovely and I would have the same again. None of my colleagues had trouble polishing off their food too. Prices were competitive. Staff were friendly and never rushed us.
