Institution of seafood made with love. The menu is common for all customers, means you can't choose salads, appetizers or entrées. They don't serve alcohol. The price is very adequate (35DT/person ~ 15Eur). Strongly advised for tourists. For local inhabitants once a year or per 2 years.

I visit this restaurant twice a year. Since 2007, the quality is fabulous. Only one menu, fish and sea food. Prices are very reasonable about 17$ per person (full menu)
And I challenge you if you can finish it :) sometimes we visit this restaurant without having dinner the previous night, so we can finish his lunch menu.
Un vrai regal :D

Had lunch here and found the premises to be extremely clean. The service was very good, and the waiter that served us talked us through the menu and explained to us any food items that we were unsure about. He also spoke quite good English. The food was cooked to order and you could tell it had all been freshly prepared. Only serves beer and wine if you want an alchoholic drink, but this is standard. Would go back here for a meal in a heartbeat, furthermore, for two meals and two beers each only came to 25 dinars, very cheap indeed!

The server is very welcoming and when I wanted to add few dishes he recommended strongly not to as what I ordered was already enough. I appreciated that gesture.
The fish was fresh, the veggieswere overcooked.
Overall a good restaurant with a very good price. 50$ for 3.
We had octopus salad, mechouia salad, regular salad, shrimp salad, 2 complete fish, fries, tastitra and veggies.
All with 2 bottles of water.

We were a party of 6 and wanted to sit outside, they forced us to sit inside claiming that they do not have space which was incorrect. Just lazy to move some tables around.
We sat inside and the waiter was fast to take orders we asked him to gives some time. Few things ordered were unavailable and they did not even propose something.
They did not have desert at all the day we went.

visited here with 3 friends cost around £15 each for a starter a main meal cocktails and drinks, lovely atmosphere, waiters polite and attentive even to the rude lady that demanded she be served instantly .. " get me a coke NOW!!!" is there really any need.
The only problem i have is people do smoke at other tables when you are eating.

You can order special dishes 24hours in advance.
Service is like any other tunisian restaurant. Food is good. I liked the location.
Food is good. My wife had fish seabass and i had Turkey breast. Other family members had the steak but it looks like it is cooked rather than bbqd

This small restaurant close to Pharmacy and Medecine university, has one of the best Pizza in the country (the best one for me remain "Art'aio" in Tunis the capital, and so this restaurant "Soprano" is the second)
Good Things :
- The pizza is awesome and original, the Menu is very variated, you can go there 7 days a week you will always have new pizza to taste.
- What makes the Pizza so special is the special dough with sesame
- If in Artaio you pay 25 dinars for a Pizza, here is less than 10 dinars.
- Customers are young and cool, ... cause you are close to university !!
Bad Things :
- small room
- not really in a touristic area after all ... but not so far, dont forget that Monastir is a small town.
- no alcohol
so sometimes when the restaurant is full, it is better to take away. They do phone ordering.
