Four of us dined at La Cave and really enjoyed our meals. One of us ordered the moules which came with a serve of chips, the rest of us ordering pizza. The moules were thoroughly enjoyable and the pizzas were fantastic with great crispy bases. Staff were friendly and the service was very good. Really enjoyable meal.

Been to the singe twice now to eat and both times I have been very impressed. The menu isn't huge but there is still quite a lot of choice and everything seems a very high quality. We had duck hearts and chicken and Camembert tapas between us as a starter and the ducks hearts are to die for - definitely recommended! Then I had the magret de canard which again was perfect and the homemade chips are possibly the nicest chips I've ever had! Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Great, attentive service and would recommend to friends and hopefully return myself!

We have been going to this restaurant for the past 4 years. In this period the staff have been great, the atmosphere excellent, the treatment of children unquestionable. The two buts... it is not vegetarian friendly, the veggie burger is a bun with vegetables in it, mostly courgette and the french fries are soggy. The meat burgers are excellent, the mussels the same. The tuna I had was perfectly done, as for the cocktails, it is half the reason we go there. But with two vegetarians in our family we were very disappointed this year.

We were cycling from Moliets and couldn't find a restaurant we fancied (it was nearly all Pizzerias in Leon centre) when Barbara spotted the sign for a Ferme Auberge. It was at least 2kms from Leon but boy was it worth it. In a past life I ran a chain of French Brasseries in London so I really do know that the food was both excellent quality and value. They breed their own ducks, make their own foie gras, need I say more? We're thinking of a revisit as I have to try the confit....

We went here whilst on holiday last week and had the menu formula for 15 euros for 3 courses which was excellent value. The food was well cooked and offered some element of gourmand, but was simple and very tasty.
Wine list a wee bit boring and quite heavily priced outside of the region but some interesting stuff on the list. This was definitely a nice wee find and would go back if I returned to the area.

If you like see food and can speak French - it is probably the place to go. Unfortunately the menu was only in French and I ended ordering quite expensive plate of raw seafood served on ice, which wasn't to my taste. My wife saved the day ordering tasty grilled turbot I really enjoyed. Good wine and interesting experience.

We had dinner with a company of 8 of which two small children. The food was very good. One of the waiters and probably owners was very friendly and polite. The other one was a little bit grumpy and did not seem to appreciate the children.

Awesome burgers at a really competitive price. Great ingredients; succulent burgers, fresh salad, big flowery buns, perfect chips. This isn't "fast food", but it is cooked with care and pride, and tastes amazing. I don't think I have tasted a better burger. We also had hot dog, which was equally good; two frankfurters toasted with onions, ketchup and mustard in a Panini - heavenly and only E2.50!

I approached this pizzeria a bit uncertain, since the sign boasted a "pizza rolled out by hand" a little creepy to me. Instead, taking apart on pizzas by the French ingredients, I had a Sicilian pizza that surprised me for the excellent quality, very similar to an Italian pizza. With the decoration of one Pantelleria caper, something that most people in France do not know what it is... (by the way: it is a special variety of caper that grows in the Pantelleria island, close to Sicily).
So, if you love Italian pizzas, I definitely recommend this restaurant.
