Great atmosphere in this stylish restaurant which is very professionally run. From the food and wine recommendations through to the nicely paced Delivery of each banquet course, everything about our visit here was enjoyable. Great flavours in all our dishes, superb seafood and meat plates (although disappointed they had run out of lamb?). Highly recommend.

The award-winning Little Truffle Dining Room and Bar has been a favourite with both locals and tourists since opening in 2010. The popular venue is located on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and Bondi Avenue in Mermaid Beach. Guests can enjoy an intimate and relaxed venue, allowing lovers of food and wine to indulge in the palatable menu prepared by Chef/Owner Daniel Ridgeway and Head Chef Jason Burt, whilst exploring the exceptional wine list from around the world. Little Truffle Dining Room and Bar can be split into several different areas to cater for a variety of guests in the contemporary dining room or classic dining room. The award-winning venue also offers two private dining rooms which features hand-made vintage crystal glassware and personal sound system. The smaller private room seats up to 8 and the larger up to 18.
Returned again, to a wonderfully special evening, it was an unusually slow evening. Waiters attentive, food exquistely executed, if the french manner. A restaurant of this style of french cooking is rare these days; keep up the great work.

Went here for lunch last week with the family to celebrate my birthday. The food is really good value and typically Japanese where it comes out on a little tray with the soup and salad. It's BYO wine too! There was a slight mix up with my order but it was quickly resolved.

Absolute Beach Front Dining !
Friends of long standing decided to get married by a civil celebrant and at this SLSC. Naturally it's right on the beach and has both a spiralling staircase to the upper floor's bar and restaurant and also a small, and somewhat slow, lift. The bar...MoreThank you so very much for this glowing review! We are so happy you had a lovely time and enjoyed our food and service! We look forward to having you visit again soon! This is a regular place for us to grab a quick veggie meal and walk over to Burleigh Headland for a relaxing meal.
Menu is a bit old. Same selection as years ago. Having said that, it is delicious and very affordable.
Very popular Place but not much Seating and more quick eat cafe style than sit in restaurant.

Very noisy place contest here if your looking for relaxed dining, I had to yell to the person next to me so they could here me. The veggie pizza was appalling tastes like tomato and cheese toast so boring. Other meals at our table were...MoreThanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am not sure if you have reviewed the right place as we do not have a Veggie Pizza on our menu. Anyway, have a lovely day

Ate here last night with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The food and service was terrific. Whist it is licensed they allowed us to BYO. We shared a number of entrees and main between us all and it worked very well. The food itself is probably "mellowed down" a bit to suit a more western pallet. But I do like spicy!! Quite a number of Indian people were eating here as well which is a good sign. This is a great, no nonsense suburban eatery that serves good quality food at reasonable prices with a very friendly and efficient staff.

I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone.. food/coffee is sooo good and the staff are always friendly! 6 Star!
My only gripe is that the music is often far too loud.. Would it be possible to relocate the speaker? In the kitchen or something if the staff want to hear loud music.. I love music and DJ but I’m not a fan of loud music while I eat.. not very relaxing!
Thanks
See you again soon

The food is good. The wine is very pricey but the food is very good. There are small bites choices, though they aren't cheap. The lamb was delicious....comes with a nice cole slaw. Had the caprese salad as well....very good, but small portion.

Long narrow space on James Street, seating on stools mainly at the bar and along side.A few tables inside and outside.Dark interior however cosy and inviting.
Staff very friendly and professional. We shared:
Duck spring rolls, sticky soy pork belly with mustard apple pickle, chicken parmy strips with Jamon and aioli and chawanmushi (prawn, salmon and mushroom in a savoury custard.)
Food was good, the stand out was the chawanmushi.
