My colleague took me here for lunch. It's basically a French food outdoor burger joint/bar. I had the Margret de Canard, and it was cooked perfectly. To me when a place executes what they intend well, they get an excellent.

This Italian restaurant is a very nice address.
You're not going to eat the meal of your life, this is regular Italian food.
But quality is really good, price is more than correct : no bad surprise !
Usually we take :
-pizzas
-escalope
-risotto
Dessert are basic but they are good and not lost in the plate.

Frankly, the decor here is nothing to write home about.
It's very expensive too.
But you know what?
It's worth it.
The portions are HUGE.
The food is carefully prepared, and delicious.
The sashimi is excellent quality, as is the 'miso' soup... which is actually like a shrimp flavored Chinese soup.
Startling, but DELICIOUS (although rather salty).
The portions are so big that it's almost a turn-off, ironically.
The waitress made the whole experience. She smiles and laughs constantly, and is obviously SINCERE.
If she was a waitress in the US she would get 25% tips. She's charm personified.
Warning: they only take two 'tickets restos' per person, if you choose to go that route.
Also: 5€ per beer is too much, but they are forgiven, because it's impossible to leave this place without a full stomach and a smile on your face.
A winner.

We found the food original and good, especially the fish and seafood dishes but it was always served cold or barely lukewarm, as the plates were not warmed before it was served (or maybe they lingered in the kitchen...) Given the price we paid, better service was expected.
The wines are just too expensive.

We are not Chinese food experts but the food was pretty good. Decent size portions and reasonably prized. Excellent, friendly service and a nice atmosphere.
Both the porc au caramel and poulet l'ananas were quite good and the cantonese rice very tasty. Would go there again.

This was a recommendation by our hotel's receptionist, and we could not have been more pleased, despite a 2 hour notice period prior to booking.
The restaurant staff was impeccable, relaxed, but full of warmth and precise knowledge. A special mention to Leila ( I hope I have her name correctly spelt) who made our evening better than expected.
We are on the Terrace.
The food was excellent, all shared starters and the lamb plat du jour succulent, just the right side of rare and flavoured masterfully.
The wine selection was tight, reasonable priced and perfect for such food.
It was a delightful experience. Bravo to all.

what a Lovely place!
Went there to have lunch yesterday and even tho the weather was so bad, it was totally full of people willing to have its menu. All kind of ages inside, but it is true that there were more aged ones since the place can be expensive depending on what you have.
The menu my gf and I had was just great. We had a free hot lil soup and a sushi maki that were very nice. Right after I ordered myself some crispy makis and my gf had an egg and mashroom soup which were SO GOOD. As main dish I took cote de boeuf that was maybe too cooked but that was prob my fault.
My mother-in-law had something out of the menu and everything tasted fantastic as well.
I recommend it but you gotta know you are not gonna spend less than 35-45 each.

We found this to be the best restaurant find in Pessac. We choice the menu du sour for 29euros. I had courgette, eggs cooked at low temperature with tiny slivers of beautiful sardine, followed by artichoke purée, wonderful flavoured parsnips and tasty though slightly salty dorade. My partner started with coated pork with Chinese cabbage and ginger, followed by gigot of lamb, couscous with tiny chickpeas and tiny beautifully cooked carrots. Our desserts: mandarins, hot in batter with lemon sorbet and cream, and tiny pieces of Madelines with cream. Wine list was mainly French wines with a few from other countries, also good beers. Great local atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great easy service. Will definitely go again. Al la carte menu also looked really interesting to try next time.

What a fantastic lunch in a lovely room with friendly staff. 3 or 4 courses, 35/45€, wine prices OK. This is great value given the quality and originality of the food.
It's a set menu, and you don't know what you're getting until it's put in front of you. Slightly worried? Don't be! Everything was absolutely sensational, wonderful flavours.
This will be THE memorable meal of your trip to Bordeaux. Not to be missed. Thanks to all for great food and great memories.
