In two weeks we visited a good number of the restaurants in Fulpmes. We left this one to last as as a recommendation from the owner of the accomodation we were staying at.
The food was definitely some of the best we enjoyed in the village and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The only negative point which cost it one star was the fact that we were seated by the entrance to the second room used for dining. Just outside was a play area for the guests children staying at the property. The had some very noisy toys/games and the children were shouting an running around which brought the atmosphere down dramatically. Most of the staff closed the door every time they went in and out.

Ate here for my anniversary and was not disappointed. This lovely cozy hotel had wonderful food made from local ingredients that was beautifully presented. Price was also very reasonable, 50€ for two including drinks. This place should not be missed if you are in the area.

Big, but cosy with an open fireplace in the middle great terrase with a stunning view, heartly, cosy and good - thats our Slogan and we give our best to keep up with it for you
We have been going to the Jagdhuette for many years and it is our favourite place for eating after a day in the Mountains. Regine and her staff are always pleasant and helpful and the food is excellent. We will be a regular customer in September this year and look forward to dining there again. David & Nancy

A cozy pizza place in the lovely Fulmpes village, with great variety in variety of Italian food and flavor.
Always very busy so it will be wise to reserve a table in advance.
The food tastes just great, the atmosphere is fine, the people running the restaurant are very kind and very helpful.
I believe that it really worth to visit it.
We are regular clients every time we visit Fulmpes.

The traditional Austrian dishes were very good. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely eat here again. Could have done without the strong smoke smell from bar area.

This place is in a great location, just off the lift and with an incredible, incredible view. They have a few tables outside, some sun chairs, and a very nice kid playing ground. I would stay here for drinks every day of the week. The food though is not that great to be honest. Not what you'd normally expect from a place like this.

What a place! What a restaurant! Allegedly the place was a mill in the 16th century and the owner's grandfather ran a milk bar and started to sell trout in the 1920is. The location is just 2 min. off the main road down into the valley near a small river. The day was blistering hot but down here with the help of the water the temperature was much more pleasant. After playing golf I was invited by a friend to have an exceptional dinner - How right he was! By suggestion (not on the menu) I started off with a game-soup which was super smooth with only a slight hint of game taste. As a main course I had a fried trout with melted brown butter on the side (not too healthy but yummy) and the usual parsley-potatoes. By the way the tout is out of the owners own pond! You can't have it fresher. We washed the fish down with a lot of “Roter Veltliner” wine. A fancy and relatively new WHITE wine grape, which was a match made in heaven. As they say – the fish has to swim For dessert I had blueberry pancakes with cream and some vanilla gelato on the side. I only choose this dessert as they told me that the blueberries were handpicked in the forest the same afternoon. (Remark: I hate the supermarket blueberries. They just taste like water in a black skin) Later in the evening when the business died down the owners – what a friendly people – sat down with us and had a glass of wine while telling us lots of stories. Thanks for your lovely company. All in all I would give the jewel of a restaurant a 4.5 out of 5 and I will be sure to be back next time I am around.

We loved this restaurant. Friendly service, great value for money and a change from the Austrian cuisine. We were surprised to find this restaurant here, but can certainly recommend it.
We almost didn't visit, because the inside isn't visible from the street, so it was a bit of a gamble. Luckily it paid off.
