Went there with my family, atmosphere is nice for a drink but they should not call themselves a restaurant. Totally butchered my fillet mignon. first of all, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a fillet steak, more like 2 minute steaks drowned in bernaise and some wierd mushroom sauce which created this Frankenstein abortion. Second of all, the mixed grill was like munching on concrete, pretty sure it was the left overs of some other poor soul who decided to eat there. 3rd and lastley, there was this disgusting sewage stench which just fermented in the air. Yup that's my review of Tam Tam, I hope you improve your food drastically because the atmosphere is wonderful.

we ate here at least five times in our week stay and found it to be the best in the resort, something for everyone on their large menu...

After eating plenty of delicious greek yoghurt, fruit and honey for a week we really fancied a cooked breakfast and stopped here while on a day trip to Mastichari. I am so glad we did as it was one of the best breakfasts ever. The location was great - looking out to sea. They have an extensive breakfast menu and I ordered the full English but with Greek (instead of English) sausages. As well as the cooked items, you also get coffee, fresh orange juice, toast, home-made jams and chocolate cake! It was huge and kept us going all day. We would definitely return.

Mastihari doesn't seem to have street name but this restaurant is 'F' on this map: http://www.mastihari.com/sketch-map-2/
This is a great place to eat if you want traditional Greek food. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The meals were good and the very friendly owner himself served us with the most delicous food and amazing garlic bread and ensured that we had a great time eating there. We would definately go back there to eat. The restaurant is on the front as you get off the bus at the terminus. Although this is a very quiet and small harbour town it is definately worth a visit during your stay on this island. If you are not driving you can travel by bus from Kos.

Been coming to kos for last three years, we love the Mastichari area anyway, Horizon bar very welcoming, staff lovely and sunbed prices cheap with water included. Sunbeds comfortable and clean with secure sunshades. Ticks all the boxes.
Food reasonably priced and well cooked. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
A few souvenir shops to look around and the prices tend to be a little cheaper than the larger resorts .
A little further up the coast is a little bar/ taverna called dolphin bay ,well worth a visit to enjoy a cold drink in the idyllic Gardens and take in the coastal view.
Great place,great prices.

We arrived to "O Makis" in search of good, authentic Greek food and hospitality. We skipped all the touristic restaurants in front of the harbour and, behind them, we found this genuine tavern runned by an old Greek man from Kalimnos and his nephew.
I have been in Greece 13 times and I can say that "O Makis" was one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had in the Aegean Sea.
You can choose the mixed fish plate for two and eat lots of fish, kalamari, octopus and drink perfect Retsina Greek wine for less than 15 € for person.

What can I say? Bravo!!!! Nice food, nice waiters, good service. The best on the beach. The best. I stayed at this coast for two weeks, tried every bar i the vicinity. Bravo are the champions. I salute you! If you doubt this try anything else and come back!

Each morning Harama advertise the special of the day for that particular evening. Tried several times & must say always really good food, surprisingly liver & onions is one of the specials & was very tasty. Also had barbecue ribs in sauce & the Sunday roast all good portion sizes & tasty, well worth a visit. If you enquire they will get a large fresh fish & explain its type, weight & cost before you buy from the local fisherman & cook it to your liking, this is the best way to ensure a really fresh tasty fish rather than pick from the chilled cabinets other eating houses have.

No, I haven't just sworn at you in Japanese, this was the name of my favourite Greek starter in Kenny's. I say starter but for the less greedy amongst you this could be enough to to tide you over.
Kenny's is a bijou restaurant with friendly staff, lovely food and excellent prices. Not to be missed.
PS. I'd often follow that Saganaki with a Gyros Pitta - give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
