We booked a table online for a table for 2 from there website without a problem. Turned up to the restaurant about 20 early. We were welcomed with a smile and in a professional manner. We were taken to our table in one of the booths. We were left s few minutes to decide on drinks and our meal. Drink were ordered and delivered in a timely fashion.
The meal was well prepared and presented to us. The food taste wonderful. The service was professional. The staff were perfect. And always had a smile.
Thank you for a wonderful meal with great service.
We will be back.

I had nice green chicken curry served with sticky rice and it was a good portion for lunch and it came with vegetable spring rolls. For £7.50 it was good. This is apparently authentic Thai food, lots of Thai people eat here and recommend. The previous occasion I had a different dish a main course off the ala carte menu and that was a larger portion. Next time I will try something else. For MH this restaurant albeit small is pretty good.
It's different to the Thai Garden in Rothwell which is not Thai but Malaysian and Chinese Mix.
I would go again.

Visited with colleagues - each of us having different meals. Decent size portions, my smoked haddock was very nice - wine list had some options below £20 and the staff were very attentive/well timed (which is quite rare in my experience!)

Situated in the picturesque town of Market Harborough, Ascough’s offers a stylish and relaxed dining experience. Ascough’s prides itself on serving delicious contemporary dishes and producing everything on the premises from bread and biscuits to ice creams and sorbets. The reasonably set lunch and evening menus offer an excellent array of meat, fish and vegetarian options that will stretch your imagination but not the purse strings. So whether you’re planning an intimate meal for two, a friendly get together, special occasion or even a wedding breakfast, Ascough’s is the perfect venue and always look forward to welcoming you and members of your company.
I appreciate I may be a lone voice on this one - but on my recent visit to Ascough's I was surprised with the decor and lack of atmosphere. It has nice lighting and good Seating but it is all just a touch antiseptic.
The food itself was extremely well presented and very good - but could we please have a few more bottles of wine under the £30 price bracket?

The Oat Hill public house serves a fusion of modern British cuisine, with an extensive selection of wines, cask ales, a great list of draught and bottled world beers. A selection of spirits and cocktails to rival any bar in London all this set in the art deco surroundings of this wonderful building with well established & landscaped Gardens. A real gem in Leicestershire.
I had the 3 course Sunday roast which was around £20. The beef salad starter was excellent. Roast beef main also very good. The best was the dessert which was the chocolate orange mouse, so good!!!! Good drinks menu - plenty of gin and rum!...MoreThank you for your review, we hope you will visit us again soon. Regards The Oat Hill Team

We always use fresh ingredients that are cooked to order and prepared to your liking.
My family have been long term visitors to this really excellent , intimate , Italian style Resturant/Take Away for a good number of years. The menus choice is wide, the actual food served has a 'fresh' and is well prepared / presented. Prices are very reasonable - you can pay a lot more locally In Market Harborough for a lot less. in the early evening expect families with children, later on it becomes more 'grown up'.The staff are welcoming and attentive. Its a typical Italian set-up - dont expect soft lighting and cozy corners!
HOWEVER; on a recent visit (12th Jan) for my daughters birthday, when we asked for a birthday cake - we supplied - to be 'surprise presented' to our table for the traditional "Happy Birthday Song" we were informed that this would attract a 10% surcharge on top of our total bill. Be warned.
With this singular exception I have no hesitation in recommending Veneto's to you. Just dont take your own Birthday Cake .......

Relaxed informal restaurant and warm cosy bar with 5 letting en-suite bedrooms one of which has the oldest crux beams in the country exposed in the room is above the beautiful Welland Valley
Stayed here as it was close to a client I was visiting. Great location only 5 mins away from the client. The room was spacious and bed was very comfy. The shower room and toilet would of benefitted from some more space. The breakfast was very good even if there was a little wait to get served. If anything the room was a little noisy in the evening due to the proximity of the bar downstairs. My room was next to the stairs, however I would stay again.
