My friend & I stopped for a mid morning breakfast and we were delighted with both the food and the service. We both ordered the breakfast special and it was cooked to our liking. I can highly recommend this friendly restaurant. So glad that we were able to fill your bellies and put smiles on your faces! Always our pleasure!

Lots of parking. Handicapped accessible. Small patio out front.
There are two sides to this restaurant, both use the same kitchen. The right side is more of a diner style with sandwiches as well as entrees. The left side is more formal Seating with no sandwiches on the menu...however you can ask for sandwiches if you want and they will serve them.
We sat on the diner side. It was bright enough and looked clean as did the washroom. However the curtains need a wash...lots of dust on them.
Staff were very helpful. The Caesar salad comes with a garlic vinaigrette dressing so if you want a creamy dressing you need to ask for it. Usually they tell you about it though...and the vinaigrette was nice. The regular size salad and a soup were definitely a meal as it comes with garlic bread too.
The Turkey dinner was a good value at $20. You could have soup or salad, bread, Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry, vegis, and pumpkin pie. It was all good except the peas were mushy and the potatoes a bit bland.
We also had the Brownie Chocolate Cheesecake but it seemed like there was a bit of freezer burn taste.

The Restaurant is part of Lillas Villa Motel where we stayed for a hiking event. It was recommended by friends who had stayed and eaten here. We were not disappointed. Our mains were Green Curry Lamb and Buttered Chicken. The menu however is extensive and included other cuisines including a variety of poutines. It is family run and service was friendly and good. It opens at 7am for breakfast but unfortunately we needed an early start and could not wait.

We went here for lunch always wanting to try since they opened. This used to be Munshaws which was a fine dining place. Not even close. They are basically what the name says - pizza and grills. Order from a window and they bring the food to the table. Staff friendly and patient with the children. Kids menu is a bonus. Food is not spectacular, but is OK>

My husband, son and I were in Flesherton for my sons baseball tournament so we took advantage of being there and finally tried this roadside diner that we have driven by so many times. It is a pretty cool and clean little place and we were greeted by a friendly young man who seated us and took our orders. Service was great as he was quick and attentive and super friendly. My husband ordered the Bacon and Egg burger with fries. It looked amazing and according to him tasty. The egg was cooked perfectly so that when he bit into it the yolk oozed out on to his burger adding to the flavor and the fries were a nice golden color and crispy which to me is a sure fire way of knowing their deep fryer is cleaned and oil changed regularly. My son and I ordered the Open Faced hot Turkey dinner as our server told us it is one of the most popular things on the menu. It was beautifully plated with mashed potato's, fresh steamed veggies and homemade bread and gravy, but we were both very disappointed with the lack of Turkey they actually give you. it was literally just a few little chunks sparsely scattered on this nice piece of bread. It was like they were running low on Turkey and decided to just make due with what they had and hope for the best. Now mind you the flavor was there but i did not feel to happy about paying $15 for bread and gravy. Despite my disappointment with mine and my sons meal i still would try this place again when the opportunity is there and i would certainly suggest this place to people, but i would tell them to shy away from the Hot Turkey unless they see somebody elses plate and go from there. So just like the show says you gotta eat here.....at least give it a try :)

Certainly interesting, shabby quaint. An old structure with open kitchen. Efficient service. Not comfortable. Pricey for ambience and decorum. Had the lobster combo. Bar be que lobster tail, utter from char. Lobster roll, a overly minced lobster salad on a roll, cold and no dicernable chunks of lobster. Had a better lobster roll at Subway. A porridge of corn and other odd vegetables. Other order a casserole of pork, ham, whatever with pasta. So not creative just a combo of a bunch of left over meat. Over raTed vig time. Unique it is, return, never.

The Bicycle Cafe makes delicious food to order. Reasonably priced, fresh ingredients and casual dining. Listen to music, play games, have a glass of wine, local beer or a cocktail. Take your time. We also make proper coffee supplied by I Deal out of Toronto. Delicious desserts made in house as well. What you put in your body is serious business, we respect that. Take out available but not encouraged. We would sooner you take a break and enjoy your food at a table rather than a car seat. You will not be disappointed when you visit or return.
this is a fantastic little place to eat! the atmosphere is eclectic, the staff wonderful and the food is excellent. the pricing is great!
on this latest visit we had a mix of vegan, vegetarian and omnivore and everyone was very happy!

Stopped for a quick bite of sausage on a bun and some fries. Everything was delicious they give you a great selection of toppings, including some from "the pickle guy". They also sell products from the pickle guy which are locally made relishes, pickles, sauces etc.
