The food is amazing, location is superb! The high rating is well deserved. The restaurant is very nice, 1 cozy backside restaurant for a more relaxing me al, and the front side is more of a beachlouge with music. Nice beach, good drinks & great staff!

This restaurant is worth visiting if only to find out about the name. Ask Bill and he will point you to the poem in the menu. My wife and I hade a light meal. We shared a moussaka, Greek salad and Bill's family white wine. It was very pleasant. The food did not knock us off our seats but we enjoyed it.

Your choices in this restaurant are different from the average Greek tavernas. Dimitri is a wonderful cook. Everything he makes tastes delicious. Atmosphere is homely, cats are gentle, Dimitri is an excellent host. I hope his daughter is born in a good health. Thanks Dimitri.

Stella taverna was the only reason for us returning to Balos, the food is without a doubt the best you could possibly eat. The staff are very attentive and work so well together as a strong team. The octopus and prawns are fantastic, you must try them. I cannot recommend this taverna enough. Well done kariakas and staff.

Since 1998 we offer traditional Greek cooked cuisine, prepared with singularly local stuff, craving and regards to our guests. Enjoy the famous mousaka, pastitsio, lemon pork, zucchini pie and more, in our green garden with Aegean sea view.
First of all I don't appreciate when restaurants don't have menus. I like to sit down and read and make up my mind - also see prices so I know what I can afford. They didn't give us a menu here. We ordered chicken pie and pastitsio and were surprised when we got a small plate with a square piece of food each. Seemed more like lunch than dinner size and also didn't really taste anything. It was more like semi warm microwaved food and we did not get full so ended up going to another restaurant to eat a second dinner. But the view was stunning and it was fairly cheap (luckily). We were recommended to go to Loukoulos by our hotel Ledra but we don't understand why. They also charged 1 euro for the bread that we did not order but had a bite of but it was dry. I definitely do not appreciate when restaurants put food on your table to seem nice but then charge you afterwards, doesn't matter that 1 euro is cheap, it's still not ok.

We have visited this place for lunch and we were disappointed. We ordered veal with beans and swordfish souvlaki. Both portions were rather small, bread has to be paid extra. The veal wasn't salted and the sauce was watery. The big plus of this taverna...Morethanks for your review marisa and your friends alesu...we look after about what you say and we will try to be better....

Chrisopetro restaurant was created in 1972 by Nikolaos Fratzeskos and has been in the hands of the family since then, with their only concern being quality food made with fresh ingredients and all the love and caring of the family. Today tradition is continued by the grandson of the founder, who tends to evolve day by day what his grandfather created. The visitor in Chrisopetro may choose between fresh daily fish, seafood, pasta and meat, cooked obviously with the characteristics of mediterranean cuisine and nutrition, and always based on Samian and Greek tradition of food.
I visit many restorants in Kampos this one is really the best one. View is magic, the food is exellent, the service is nice and the price reasnable. I recomand to visit for others, food

Based on reviews we saw we were expecting to have the best gyros pita but I have to say that i really really do not understand why other reviewers have rated so highly this place!
To start with we probably had the worst tzatziki in our entire stay in Samos. Then we tried the chicken gyros pita that were just poor. The meat was dry with little garniture and a few drops of sauce. So stay away from their gyros pita.
Now from a price perspective, I have to admit it was cheap but even then i wouldn't mind paying a little extra but to get something far better.
In other words, if you are short in budget then you can certainly give it a try but set your expectations very low. I would NOT recommend this place at all. There are other similar places far better in the neighborhood. Trust me!

We had one quite good lunch here and returned, expecting another, but were underwhelmed and disappointed. Not a large menu, so not much choice. Heard pizza was good, but they only do these in the evenings so didn't try them. Don't think I'd try them a third time.
