Some friends took us to this very casual place in Woodbridge.
Interesting approach - no table service - you walk in, order and when your order is ready, someone brings it to your table. No problem with any of that.
Reasonable price and good size pizza. Salads are very nice sizes.
My problem was that the pizza is tasteless. The crust was good but there really was no taste on the top. They need to spice up their sauce - or perhaps put more on the shell.
Not sure if I would go back.

We tried to make Reservations but they had been all out when we called the week prior, they told us it would usually be about a 30 - 40 minute wait so we just decided to go anyways.
Being from the US I’m a little leary of Chain Restaurants... but we had heard good things from our Canadian friends, so we decided to go anyways.
There was indeed a long wait but that was expected. The staff was really friendly once we finally got to sit and the food was delicious. My husband got the prime rib and I got a bacon wrapped chicken dish that was super tasty.
They also had really good French onion soup. I definitely recommend it!

Casual Dining
Wow..., wow, wow. Every bit you take is a wonderful gastronomical adventure. Absolutely every mouthful! This review is completely independent, we don’t know these wonderful people (they must be), that own this quaint family restaurant.
Most restaurants fall in the 80 percentile on the bell curve - making a ‘just ok’ grade. Another 10 percent are no good. THIS delightful trattoria delivers.......and it delivers in the top 10 percent; magna cum laude.
We stared with what you would expect, the antipasto. The meats were perfect, the cheese excellent and the vegetables tasty and sweet. The hot chilli oil with the bread is out of this world. (Don’t be surprised if you just pick up the oil bottle and drink it! )
My wife had the muscles and spicy pasta, which she absolutely loved. I had the the chicken cutlet with the homemade gnocchi. Please be warned!!!! ;-/ The gnocchi is addictive! We finished our meal in traditional fashion with tiramisu and espresso. Once again homemade and wonderful.
I’m not completely certain, but based on our experience, everything on this menu would be delightful. It’s up to you whether you come here or not. That has nothing to do with us; rest assured.....We’ve already made our Reservations, we made our next Reservations while paying for our check from tonight‘s dinner. (How often have you read that in a review?)
Anna Maria Trattoria & family - thank you for such a lovely meal!! See you in two weeks.

Once again.. I was at the Centre st deli... and as alwasys....had a great meal! I love the handcut meat, which is always served fresh.. and stacked high...busy place at lunchtime but always a seat to be had.
I live near many other local deli's..but.. will always make the drive to this restaurant for the food.. and the good service.

Went here for the 1st time today with a business colleague. We were served by a very disinterested older italian woman who didn't seem interested in serving anyone let alone us. Receiving menus was a challenge and since we were having a meeting, she wanted to collect the menus before we'd decided what to have. We opted for sandwiches (which are ordered by walking to the back of the restaurant and not from the server). Rarely did the server ever come back to our table and if she did she spoke in non-friendly, clipped sentences dripping in sarcasm. When the bill came, she dropped on the table and walked away. We wanted separate bills so we could pay separately - but since we knew that wasn't going to happen, we walked to the cash registers and tried to pay separately. The 1st lady who tried to accept payment, couldn't so our 'unfriendly' server came to help and she looked at my cash, proceeded to lock up her cash register by punching some buttons and then telling us that she couldn't take cash cause the machine was locked up. I said, what would you like to do and she wanted to take payment from my colleague first, I didn't understand her issue and she began to get loud and argue with us about paying. I told her that I didn't come here to argue with her and that I wouldn't be treating or speaking to my customers that way. She just plodded along, grumbling away, took our cash and we left. I said that I wouldn't be back. IF I wanted service like that, i'd stay home to serve myself. The food was ok, not great, not bad but the service needs an overhaul.

Came here on Saturday night for dinner with friends. It was busy, this place wastes no space. You sit very close to other tables and there is no ambiance, kind of feels like a fast food restaurant.
To be fair, this restaurant is very clean.
We shared 2 appetizers. Both of them tasted identical. Essentially they were arugula salads with slightly varying ingredients. One of them had a small cylinder of cheese, which tasted like mascarpone. The other salad had some boiled beets and orange slices.
Later when I got my entree, it also came with the same arugula salad. I feel like the waiter could have warned us that all these dishes have the same salad, I would have ordered something else.
Servings were quite small. The food was one-dimensional.
I had a striploin steak, the quality of the meat was good. I ordered medium rare, but it was served medium well. I should have addressed it at the time, but it was late and I just wanted to eat and get going.
I found that the olive oil which they serve with bread had a bitter taste, I felt it was a bit stale.
The gelato which we had as dessert was good, but the serving so so tiny, smallest one I ever saw. Not worth the $8 or $10 charge for two tiny (I mean TINY) scoops.
Most dishes on the menu appear to be vegetarian and the selection of proteins isn't great from what I saw.
I'm sure this place will prosper as there really isn't anywhere else to go in that area, but I will not be spending any more $ there, because it is just not worth it.
Many many other excellent places in the GTA, or stay at home and cook a proper Italian dinner.
Very poor value...

First time to lunch here because cousins recommended it. Our steak sandwiches were good with plenty of meat. Our family ordered the veal parmigiana Sandwich which
They didn't like much. The cashier was not friendly, maybe she was in a bad mood.
But the nice lady who made the cappuccino was pleasant. Probably not return, it's too far for us to drive there also.
