Outdside Guests welcomed Only 45 Minutes car ride from Chiang Rai city
We love this place. We stayed at Anantara Elephant Camp and purchased the Golden Triangle Package which included all the meals. We ended up eating at this place for all 3 meals. Breakfast buffet was excellent with great Asian and Western choices, including fresh fruits and coconuts. Bread was made fresh, as a matter of fact, when they found out my daughter was lactose intolerant, they made a new batch just for her. We opted for Thai food for lunch and dinner they were among the best we've had on our entire trip. They also have some Western selection, but most of the western food is next door. The prices on the menu appears quite expensive, but luckily for us, it was included in our package. Overall, we enjoyed the food, the excellent service, and the view. I would get the inclusive package as food without it would be quite expensive.

All about sweet is one of the best places on the highway between chiang rai and mae chan. Don't pass by without stopping. The coffees are great, the fruit juices are great, the main meals are great, the puddings are great. Service is good as well.

We stopped here as there was a lot of mini buses with tourists. Food was good and reasonable priced.
Wife said the toilets were very clean. Stop and take in the sights. Directly opposite where we are sitting is Myanmar with Laos on the distance on the other side of the Mekong River.

We stopped in at Janine cafe after seeing the great reviews on TA
Very sadly there was nothing in the bakery goods, the cakes were definitely not home made and not fresh, things we asked for on the menu were not available apparently. There was no fresh bread on offer, there were some biscuits in an open jar that. We're not appealing .
I caught the lady making our smoothies (no coffee machine to be seen) licking the spoon as she was making them, I was on my way to the bathroom and surprised her. The chocolate slice from the display we bought was dried up and not really edible, spoons were not adequate to cut it up. I would not have liked to order soup or pizza as we would have waited a long time for them to be made or sourced from somewhere else. Definitely since last reviewed this place seems to have deteriorated what a shame.

This roadside stop seeks to promote sexual health with all profits to the cause. There are some great posters around 'no love without glove' or 'our food is guaranteed not to cause pregnancy'. Pleasant area with a peacock who was showing off as a bonus! Above average offerings helped too - when will the dreadful UK service areas follow such leads?

IMPORTANT: Mekong Pizza will be CLOSED from April 20th thru May 5th, 2017. Apologies for the inconvenience.

We do the best pizza on the Mekong. Or so our customers say. Thin, slightly crispy crust with organic salads and very good Australian beef for those who don't want pizza. Don't forget to try the fresh chocolate chip cookies. There's the usual assortment of Thai (and Lao) beers and a modest but decent wine selection. Try us. You'll like us. From what others are saying, it's the best kept secret in the Golden Triangle. OK, maybe not THE best. There's LOTS of secrets here, but you get the idea.
The pizzas are some of the best we have had in Thailand, and certainly match anything Bangkok can offer! The dining room is simple but comfortable with indoor and outdoor areas, with the awesome smell of the pizzas being baked from the kitchen in the...MoreMany thanks for your generous and enormously flattering review. Very glad you were pleased with your experience. Please come back again. And again... Best MS

This Chiang Saen riverside restaurant is the perfect place to have a cold drink and a delicious Thai meal at the end of a day. I love the Mekong vibe and the low, candlelit tables - brimming with foreigners and locals alike. Aom and Ying are wonderful cooks and turn out top dishes from their portable kitchen - I had the best fried mushrooms ever; and they can cater creatively to vegetarians too. Ying has years of experience from the Four Seasons, and everyone working here is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Fong Kaew Kitchen is a traditional Thai Food Restuarant located closed to Chiang Saen - Chiang Kong Road in a small village named "San Ton Pao" half-way between Chiang Saen and Chiang Kong District, Chiang Rai Province along with Mae Kong River. The restuarant is open from 11.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. everyday.

The contemporary setting of Baan Dhalia is accented with rustic Thai details and stunning views over the Mekong Valley that make for an unforgettable Golden Triangle dining experience. The Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is complemented by an extensive wine cellar with offerings from around the world. Chef’s specials include Signature Caesar Salad spun tableside and Parmesan Spaghetti prepared tableside in a whole parmesan wheel. Alternatively, design your own flavours from Frutti di Mare, black truffle cream, Carbonara, Trapanese pesto with Parma ham, tiger prawns with pesto and pine nut.
