We came to that very remote place pleased to discover a 100% vegetarian restaurant. We were hoping to find the most fresh, natural and healthy products. Unfortunately we discovered that a lot of the dishes are made of one heated/fried junk-food vegetarian element (not made onsite but bought as is) with the addition of fries and/or a few leaves of salad. We were not impressed by the desserts as well that were heavy and of low quality. That place could be absolutely stunning and special. With all that space they could grow their own vegetables and offer beautiful dishes made of their own creation and ingredients.

Great location in middle of main retail strip and easy walking distance to trains. Very friendly service and great choice of meal selection with inside and outside dining options. Lovely Art Deco photos and appearance inside. Seating comfortable with local papers to look through during meal/ coffee.

The food here is exceptionally good western style Chinese food. On a par with or better than most Sydney Chinese restaurants.
5 of us ate here and cost only $84. ( Unfortunately no dessert was on offer)
Ambience is typical 80s decor and could probably do with a makeover but having said that it is very clean. The staff are extremely friendly.

Stopped by for lunch while travelling through Lithgow and decided to come here as we’d had a good experience previously. Still good food with great value.Hi Nick, it is great to see we are providing consistency in product and service, our team work very hard to provide this service and product to our many members and guests. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to your next visit.

This place is beautiful. The prawn entrée was beautiful followed by the chicken breast with prawns and garlic sauce. Very large meals. We decided to have a look at the sweet menu but waited for about 20 minutes but the sole waitress forgot to bring it to us. Finally had to ask to see it. Custard tart was nice but the chocolate mousse was fantastic. A port and drambuie finished off the meal. Definitely a great place to eat.

Recently moved our premise to a much more inviting space. We still have our Hole in the Wall servery window for your convenience. Our restuarant area is an amazing space sure to make you feel very comfortable and welcome. Perfect for large functions. Now serving wood fired pizza friday and saturday nights and sunday lunch! Salud! - Cheers to good health!
Called in after hearing great reviews of the cafe only to be severely disappointed. With no other customers before me, I had to wait 30 minutes for a coffee and after 45 minutes my toasted Sandwich was still not ready. After asking if I could have it un-toasted I saw that the Sandwich was what could only be described as a mess on the Sandwich press. My co-worker ordered take away toast which took over 30 minutes to prepare with no other customers. Furthermore after paying nearly $10 that they had to apply the spreads themselves. Very disappointing experience. Would definitely not recommend this cafe.

Didn't eat here. Couldn't. Website said CJs open Saturday lunch, but it has now changed hands and was closed. New owner came to the door and informed us that as they also owner another venue, this one was now closed during lunch. Odd, but very Lithgow.

Stayed at the Zig Zag Motel and we decided to try the restaurant.
No booking but they accommodate us on a busy Saturday evening.
We tried and salmon and fillet coupled with a few beverages.
Meals cooked to perfection.
Service from wait staff was also very good.
I would certainly eat here again.
Motel accommodation was also excellent.

Rob and Linda have worked really hard to get the lounge area looking so good! I dare say it's the new feature of the Restaurant. Hope to see you again. Kind Regards, Melissa
