A perfect restaurant for an easy, simple and fast meal. The atmosphere is light and casual. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The dishes are tasty and the ingredients are fresh (especially nice if you like vegetables). The prices are also very reasonable.
You should make a reservation since the restaurant is not very big and it seems to be a popular place. If you don't, there a few places at the bar to dine at.

Every year we dine here and it is always the same, high quality and wonderful experience. The dishes are well prepared and very delicious. The staff are very professional yet still friendly and helpful.
We didn't notice it last year, but they had remodeled the einkehr. Before it was a traditional Austrian style. Now, it is a nice blend of traditional and modern decor, done with taste.
A must go for an upscale, gourmet meal!

Situated in a cinema complex in Linz, the place offers at beginning weird stuff, which don’t belong one to another but after a second look you’ll see that the menu makes a lot of sense. We had chicken Marroco style, Wiener Schnitzel, Risotto and Spaghetti Bolognese; everything was delicious. Very very good, you need to try it!

I grew up in an area known for its Indian food, but even though the food was excellent, there was never really a fine-dining experience. Curries were bought as takeaways, samoosas a quick snack on the run, filled rotis the perfect hangover-fixer. Eating at Bombay Palace changed my perception completely.
Everything about this restaurant is top-class, from the service to the food. The decor is welcoming and the service, in my experience, is better than any other restaurant I've been to in Linz. I dined here with my son, who had decided not to have a starter. I ordered the samosa, and was asked if we'd like to share it. We did. The samosa was cut in half and each half presented beautifully (and individually garnished) on two separate plates. I have dined at Bombay Palace before, so I knew what to expect. My son was absolutely blown away by the whole experience. Best Service. Best Curry. It's a bit pricy, but it's worth every cent.
Tip: it's advisable to book.

Cook offers an exciting dining experience which we really wanted to enjoy in Linz. Fortunately we booked beforehand and even though initially we were only placed opposite the open kitchen there was room for us in the restaurant.
The food is excellent and made a pleasant change from Austrian. Starters were great, crayfish on toast and gravalax both works of art, generous portions and very tasty.
Mains: fish soup spicy full of fish and delicious; Tuna beautifully seared maybe slightly too salty but with an excellent stir fry - both very good.
Johannes is a lovely guy attentive, passionate and helpful, above all he is a superb chef. He offered excellent wine choices and described the menu and specials so well I wanted to eat everything.
So sadly to a couple of negatives the waitress was terrible and didn't understand the menu or what we wanted.
We were probably the oldest in the restaurant more Jan half of the other tables taken up by youngsters loudly glugging beer and treating Cook like a beer hall. The waitress clearly there primarily to keep their glasses full.
Johannes back your ability and judgement go for more fusion and quality food not cheap eats. Diners book here and back Johannes; Cook is good but it could be sensational. Go Johannes.

The courtyard of the Rathaus provided a wonderful setting on an unusually (for Sept) balmy evening. The service was courteous and friendly. As the restaurant emphasizes Austrian cuisine, we did that. My cordon bleu (pork variety) was excellent, and my wife’s chicken pasta dish was also done just right. To top it off, the price was very reasonable. We’d happily return to eat here again.

There are a lot of „Italian” restaurants all over the world, run by local people, what does not mean they cannot be good, but this restaurants are never real Italian. Il Caminetto is authentic Italian restaurant, run by Italian and the chef is obviously also Italian. Food is very good, wine also. I took spaghetti with clams in white wine sauce and it was very good (clams could be better washed to eliminate sand which was present). Interior is very nice.
