This hotel and restaurant is just outside the center of Lecco.
The food was really delicious. The menu's are really good. The round tables for 5-8 pax are marvelous to accommodate nice diners compared to long stretched tables.
A separate room is available with a huge table for +-12pax.
After diner, the rooms above provide luxe and quite. The next morning, the chef prepared us the best mushroom omelet ever (according to our daughters).

This tiny little restaurant is off the beaten path on the eastern shore of Lake Como in Lecco. If you are willing to put in your map time, you will not be disappointed. There were only eight tables set up the night we visited. The menu is all about fish. I am typically a meat person, but still enjoyed the fish preparations. The other members of my family who usually choose fish, thought the meal was outstanding. My oldest son started with the fish sampler and said it was the best fish he had ever eaten (he has eaten a lot). The recommended wine was very good, yet inexpensive. Multiple hand prepared Deserts were brought out on a cart and served from there. We couldn't pass up. The chef came out and visited with us for 10-15 minutes after our meal. The restaurant is a family affair started by his mom and dad in 1984 and still located in his parents home, although he now lives upstairs, cooks, and runs the restaurant. Reservations are a must. If you find yourself on the eastern side of the lake, give this gem your patronage.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this pizzeria-slash-food store (they carry a limited selection of products from Cilento) has a pizza menu that truly reflects the flavors of Italy's south. Buffalo milk mozz, spicy provolone, smoked scamorza cheese, anchovies, and more. They also make a few of the classic toppings to satisfy all tastes. What sets them apart from other pizza restaurants is that they also open for lunch which is often a rare thing for wood-burning pizza places. During summer it can get really hot in their shop but it's well worth the wait. Communal bench-style Seating area and cold drinks also available. Pizza can be ordered for take-away as well.

Great experience.
Nice and friendly personnel
Easy to find
Excellent food, from the starter to the sugar candies box!
Owner really open to satisfy our requests and curiosity: I asked for a mint sauce recipe and an empty beer glass for my collection and, in return, he got my two glasses :)
Price: 25€/person for a very reasonable dinner (both quantity and quality wise)
Very suggested!!

Now that is a bold statement, but it's true, the quality of food a dinner is Michelin standard for a fraction of the price. Try the six course taster menu with a nice bottle of wine as the sun sets over Lake Como. Honestly, it doesn't get much better than this.

Visit this place for something quick, delicious and different in Lecco. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the stop if you are looking for something new and not Italian. The owner is friendly and serves up Greek dishes like you would find on the Islands. We had a quick dinner and paid 22 euro (2 plates, side and of course, a Greek beer)

The bistrot mamaioa is tipical and fresh fish restaurant.
We arrived with no reservation and were seated quickly without fuss. The staff spoke excellent English and we took their recommendations on food and wine. Both were excellent. We would not hesitate to go back.

It was a more or less surprise. It was sunny, the kid was claiming something to eat (rice) and there was this Indian Restaurant. We were surprised by caring service, by great meal, by great taste and by very fair prices. What else do you need?

Had a ´dinner' here last night. A pizza and two hamburgers. Pizza ok but nothing special; hamburgers as simple as you can get them without any sauce, rather small for the price and the taste ok but nothing more. Service ok but nothing more. Not a special experience.
