Our tour guide dropped us here as a meal was included in our trip.
Many people wait here for the night train.
We both ordered the sizzling beef, although this wasn't cheap by Vietnamese standards when it arrived it came with vegetables and spring rolls as well. The food was good and the WiFi worked well (important when you are waiting round for a few hours)
I have no idea why other people reviewing this restaurant needed to get their tickets via the restaurant, the train station is only a couple of minutes away, go and exchange your coupon there.

We had a set dinner in this restaurant. Very nice food and the waitor is so helpful. Try the beef hotplate, the deep fried sweet potatoes, any fried vegetables and the best one is the pumpkin soup! We will sure visit this restaurant in our next trip to Sapa. I love you Sapa!

Our first meal in Sapa was lunch here for convenience. Seemed well situated on Main Street.
Waiter a bit off hand, as if we shouldn't be there.
Food was reasonable but neither of us got what we ordered e.g. Mushrooms from the chicken and mushroom were missing!
Given the general standard in Sapa, this was disappointing.

We were lured into this hotel to kill a few hours in Lao Cai before the night train back to Hanoi. The food was nourishing and well priced, and we decided to shower and change after a full days trek. They kindly have us a room for a small charge, which was well worth true money to refresh before the train journey. Rooms are very basic, small Asian style bathroom and cheap toiletries.
Downstairs bathrooms are clean And wifi was free and fast.

If you are catching the night train to Hanoi a great place for supper on the square, bit fine dining but good service, good prices and for em garlic prawns and soup difficult to better so of you walk around the square by the station upstairs at this place you shouldn't go wrong

It is hard to describe exactly what this place is. It is an art gallery, a homestay as well as a cafe which serves food and drinks. No matter what it is, it is an amazing stop with great view and friendly, warm-welcome. At first, I took a moment to go around the place and had a look at all arts displayed here. They are quite interesting works which reflect the life of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas. Then I ordered a hot chocolate with pork fried rice. The dish is absolutely delicious, served with a special kind of chilli sauce in this area. As for the price, it is reasonable since I really enjoyed the ambience and view here. Service is good since it is a small family-run business with great care for guests. The owner is a friendly and sociable lady who is either a cashier or cook :D Overall, this is a hidden gem in Sapa as its name. Highly recommend.

Terminus restaurant offers traditional Vietnamese foods and european dishes in Lao Cai city. We are located by lao cai train station and just 10 minutes from Chinese border.
This isn’t a great restaurant, but it’s very convenient to the train station, the staff are friendly and professional, and the food is pretty good. Has a reasonable selection of different beers and wines, and an extensive menu of Vietnamese and Western dishes.
Voted best pizza in Lao Cai. Our chef Huy Nguyen has a passion for pizza, and has been perfecting his pizza making art for over a decade. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere. It has a central location. It is perfect for any occasion or just a quick bite!
