Visited here for evening meal with friends who have been several times. Husband and I had fresh Cob which was juicy and tasty, with salad & chips and a nice bottle of Darling Sauvignon Blanc to enjoy while watching the sun set and the last of the windsurfers/ Kitesurfers on the water. The service was excellent and Also had lemon meringue pie to finish with a coffee yummy. Go Try!

We were going to visit another, simular restaurant a bit more north from Langebaan, but decided that we would rather visit Die Strandloper.
What a great experience it was. We ate like kings for the best part of three and a half hours. Totally stuffed we left with a song in our hearts.
We definately over did it, but we enjoyed every moment.

Helpful staff and a good view out over the beach. If you like Sushi this is the place to go as it looked very good, however the other dishes are not as special.

Excellent location on top of the dunes along the beach. Nice view on the lagoon. Very informal setting. Fixed price, all you can eat buffet formula. But the food is of poor quality and we found a crawling cockroach in the tray on the buffet with mussels. A lady made a remark to the waitress,. She covered the cockroach with mussels, and left the tray on the buffet....
One of the best restarants in Langebaan for very good food and frendly service from staff with nice view over lagoon the tripe the best you can get and mussels see you again

If you ever wondered what ‘spoilt for choice’ really meant, this place will enlighten you. There is so much on offer in pots and pans and plates from lamb curry to chicken breasts, boerewors to bredie, fried fish and calamari, breads, vegetables, salads and much,...MoreHi Peter Thanks for your review, but I think you may have Pearly's confused with another Langebaan restaurant (maybe Boesmanland?). Our menu is strictly a la carte. Regards David

Breeze's menu, with both specialities and local, seasonal delicacies. All dishes have been thoughtfully prepared and presented for ultimate enjoyment. In addition, Breeze has paired some select wines to match your meal perfectly.
I have visited this establishment for lunch, cappuccinos and milkshakes (for my 11-and 12 year old nephews). The view of the ocean from the deck is beautiful; the bathrooms are clean and stocked with lovely hand wash and lotion. Wifi is available too.

Thali Thali is a 1,460 hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just off the R27 near Langebaan, just over 1 hours drive from Cape Town, bordering the West Coast National Park. The Cape West Coast is intoxicating and the Langebaan area with its beautiful lagoon has a charm that keeps people coming back year after year. Come and enjoy West Coast hospitality at its best while drinking in the most beautiful sunsets and night skies from our deck. The restaurant and bar is situated next to a boma and splash-pool which makes it cosy and comfortable with great views. Enjoy a lazy lunch in our garden, while the kids play in the splash pool or monkey around on the jungle gyms. Our food is true to our region, true to the tradition of South African cooking. Meals are beautifully displayed, and generous portions always leave our guests satisfied and excited to come back again. We offer buffets on Sundays, and our bread displays and platters are legendary. We also cater for conferences, celebrations and weddings and enjoy planning that special menu with our guests. We can cater for up to 60 guests in our cozy restaurant, but our marquee can accommodate up to 100 guests for those larger functions or weddings. A visit to Thali Thali offers the ideal laid-back West Coast style break-away - complete with game drives, archery lessons and sundowners on the deck for the not so adventurous. We boast a wide range of game like kudu, oryx, giraffe, red hartebeest, eland, zebra, sable, springbok, black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, steenbok, ostrich, dromedary camel and emu. The reserve is also home to many different bird species and guests are welcome to enjoy a walk in the fynbos to view these creatures.
We enjoyed a great lunch here prior to an afternoon game drive. We found the service attentive and most importantly the food was delicious and very attractive in the plating. It's worth the 3km detour off the main road. Pretty setting with a garden oasis on the edge of the game farm. The only downside specific to our visit was it coincided with some noisy maintenance in the restaurant, which could've perhaps waited until all patrons had left or rather be done after hours. The drilling noises spoilt an otherwise very pleasant experience. However we would easily return and would recommend.

We had oysters for starters, fresh and tasty. Then we had prawns and calamari for mains. We realy enjoyed the food, eventhough it was very oily.
This is an average restaurant and good for a quick pop-in-and-leave meal. Service was not very good and prices are maybe a little on the high side, taking into concideration the quality.

The Pancake Place Langebaan often referred to as the "Hidden Gem or Hidden Surprise " is worth your time searching for. The Pancake Place is situated in Bree Street, a little hidden away at the back of a small centre yet central to the shops and near the beach front. If you are looking for a great light meal, with quick and friendly service and value for money, The Pancake Place is not to be missed! Apart from a variety of mouth-watering pancakes and waffles their "kroketten" are a must!! And it is one of the few places on the West Coast where you find good strong filter coffee!! This is an ideal venue for small functions, special occasions such us Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Valentines day etc. You can expect a little creative extra on these occasions to make your day very special
I’ve been discernibly picky in not awarding 5 stars on previous visits to this West Coast favourite ! But I can now report that on this last tastng, everything was ‘spot on’ - the pancakes delicious and a worthy destination stop for any crepe connoisseur ! I had the lemon & sugar offering...followed by 2 banana & caramel delights ! I can’t tell you how frustrating it is that The Pancake Place is 6,300 miles from my home in the UK. That said, If it was any closer I’d be a certain 10kg heavier. Highly recommended ! Friendly, efficient service with a smile...

We visitef Marc's for some sundowners. Nice variaty, but poor service with even less speed in the waiters.
When having drinks and coctails, nobody wants to wait twenty minutes to be served and another ten to get your drinks.
Remember good reviews comes with good service.
