If you want to play it safe while visiting Lajeado, Subway is your obvious option. Just like any other Subway in the world. Good, you know your choices. The riskest option is the Chipottle sauce as in every other place in the world. If you are a wimp, you've found your place!

This is one of the best restaurants in Lajeado and offers a very good rate of cost/benefit. The food is very good with local dishes that are served in the Brazilian "rodizio" way, where the waiter passes offering each dish for the tables. So with a very good price you can try all food. The ambient and the service is very good as well. I highly recommend at least one meal there.

O local serve boas pizzas bem na área central da cidade. O atendimento fica um pouco a desejar e, o local é pequeno então as mesas ficam muito próximas, tem a possibilidade de algumas mesas na própria calçada em frente ao local.

This spot was recommended by local friends. It has been open since 1981 with very wide menu for Sandwiches, Burgers, Pizza, etc.
The specialties are "Xis Sandwiches" which are very flavory. I tried the File which truly was a great option.
I would recommend to anyone planning to have an informal meal to visit this place and discover the true local experience. (Very central location and great service, although a bit over-priced, as this is more like a "Street Food" option, although Seating is indoor)
