We had booked this small restaurant for enjoying the sunset while having fondue. We were not disappointed. The view was fantastic, the fondue very good. To add to the experience, the locals started playing the accordion challenging each other with different tunes. Nice to be far away from the tourist crowd!

Welcome in The Grape Enjoy a breeze of California here in Weggis. We spoil you in relaxing ambiance, while juicy steaks and crunchy pizzas will be prepared under your eyes. Wether for lunch, candle-light dinner, enoyable evening with friends or comfortable get-togehter with your family: It's always season for Californian lifestyle. Informal delicious, with passion and lots of pleasure. This is our world, in which we like to invite you.
We came here, expecting an unpretentious dinner, and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was a delight, and the food was excellent (we had salads, a burger and a pizza). If we lived closer, this would definitely become a favorite restaurant.

We wanted to take a little excursion out Luzern away from all the tourists. Our concierge recommended a boat trip to the town of Weggis and then lunch at the SeeHotel Gotthard. The restaurant at the this lakeside hotel is excellent and just a 10 minute walk from the boat landing in Weggis. The Seating is out doors along the lake and the service and food was wonderful. This is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon and get away from the flood of tourists in Luzern.

In beautiful traditional building they have a traditional Swiss dining area with about a dozen tables. The selection of dishes is not enormous, but the care for best ingredients, attention to all details is impressive. The chef himself comes to check at every table and ensure customer satisfaction. In Autumn they have special seasonal dishes and they also organize several days of "Metzgete" which we heard are booked out rapidly. The price is a bit steep, but the experience is memorable, including the careful attention of the staff.

A Mediterranean feeling in the middle of Küssnacht am Rigi. We spoil our guests with traditional Italian dishes. We look forward to serving seasonal and fresh products. Every day we present you a new lunch menu. Our menu in the evening is seasonally redesigned. Immerse yourself in the fragrances and flavors of the Italian food culture.
My visit at La Cantinetta was an excellent experience. First of I'd like to mention the very kind welcome, the great service, the flexibility of the cuisine for special wishes, such as gluten-free meals and finally the excellent wine list. This restaurant is an excellent experience for couples, lovers who look for a nice "ambiente" and even for groups. Please enjoy!

This is a good restaurant. They are keen to please. The menu has a good range of steak as well as fish choices and veal. If you order steak, you have a choice of sauces to add to the flavour. Garlic and Cafe de Paris are excellent. Jacket potato or chips are also included. The service is a bit slow. On a Saturday night we were kept waiting an hour for the main course but at least it was freshly cooked for you. House wine, a Pinot noir was OK, nothing more.
For Deserts, there are a huge range of ice creams. Apple sorbet with calvados was excellent. Be careful if you ask for tap water. They served us still water and charged CHF 5 francs a litre without any warning, even if you order a bottle of wine. The Swiss people think it's acceptable as they have to wash the glasses!!

In the Swiss-Chalet restaurant swiss cuisine with its finesse and complemented with popularities from around the world. Dishes are prepared with selected products from the region and wisely combined with specialities from afar. On two floors and four different Stuben the cosy ambience invites you to linger. More than 20 cherry brands from the region are waiting to be sampled. The Cheese Fondue is served exclusively in the Bränte on the groundfloor. We are proud to be a distinguished member of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Caveau de Sabrage of the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or as well as a participant of “ächt SCHWYZ”. The breakfast for our Schloss-Hotel and Swiss-Chalet Lodge guests will be served from 7am untill 10am on the ground floor. In summer time we serve our dishes as well as the breakfast on the Terrace in front of the Swiss-Chalet.
I love visiting Swiss Chalet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The interior is authentically Swiss, low ceilings, and the whole atmosphere is just so Swiss. Food is amazing, bit on the expensive side, but worth it. Extensive wine list and knowledgeable staff. Awesome views of the lake and Mountains.

We really liked this restaurant situated in the centre of pretty Kussnacht am Rigi. We had three really outstanding meals here at Christmas and Easter. Great Foie Gras, great quality steak tartar and fine veal cordon bleu. The only complaint was that the kitchen was a bit slow. Now, suddenly the menu has changed and what is left is what tasted like frozen fish, half portion of microwaved cordon bleu and warmed up chips. Did the chef have a night off or has he gone?
So disappointing not to be able to enjoy this place again because the staff are really nice and the rooms very attractive old Swiss with lovely wood ceiling.

Alpenhof is situated above Küssnacht am Rigi. You can enjoy a most splendid view over the valley, the lake of Lucerne and the Pilatus. The Resturant has a huge garden with old trees and enjoy the shadow. Large family tables, small pavilions invite you and your family to have some nice ice cream desserts in the afternoon or enjoying the BBQ with the salad buffet. The children can play around on trampolines, chutes or visiting the stable of the farm. There is a large park however no road passing through, so you breath lovely fresh air and no traffic noise. If you plan to spend more time you can go for the rope course.

We found Switzerland in general to be very expensive - 3-4 times as expensive as Italy for example. The menu at Rossli is small but the quality of each meal was excellent. It was a warm summers evening when we were there and there was a great vide at the outside Seating area. Lovely evening all round
