We came by after 2pm on a weekday afternoon. The restaurant was fairly empty, with only 3 tables occupied of which one was occupied by its staff.
We sat down and ordered sweet & sour chicken, omelette with radish, braised beancurd, ginger chicken, chap chye, hor fun, etc. We wanted to try crabs but we're told there is a minimum order of at least 2 crabs, which we gave a miss as only 2 persons were keen on crabs.
Service was fast, maybe because it was empty. Prices were not exactly cheap, but at least the food was fairly tasty. Parking was sufficient, and free as well.

Drove 20mins in all the way from the highway toll to get to this secluded restaurant (no pork no lard). 35mins away from Desaru.
The Chinese lady who took our order (presumably the boss) at around 2pm Saturday afternoon, was nonchalant in attitude (made us feel unwelcome) even though we were the only 2 new table (4-5pax) to arrive (there were two other 8-10pax table whom had finished their meal).
The RM50 red fish cooked in Hong Kong style was acceptable, the baby kailan was normal, the braised tofu was ok, the hell of a disappoint was the egg steamed prawns.
6 small size grey prawns for RM24 was a real shocker of a price and it was not even fresh with some sand bits in them.
Total bill came about RM105 including drinks and rice. 25% of the bill is the NOT WORTH to eat prawns.
As i was paying the bill to the lady boss at the counter, a lady who was seated next to my table whom arrive about the same time as me, commented to the lady boss that her fish was under cook.
I skip this place in future because for the distance traveled, the unfriendly welcome, sporadic poor cooking and pricing method.

This is my 2nd visit to the restaurant for dinner. They never failed me with delicious taste of food, spicy & sour Tom Yum (Wow Yummy). Deep fried fish sweet & sour, can you image how I'm enjoy my food. Most important fish is fresh that make the taste good.
Squid, nah sorry isn't up to the standard, isn't well good. Such a waste otherwise everything will be excellent.
Will be back, just small error. I still in love with the place, nice and relax. Really village feeling, dark and quiet.

Asean delight, 3 cost meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, our awesome flavor will satisfy your taste.
Nothing to wow about. Food so expensive, service slow. The worst part is the owner and staff busy watching TV and ignore the customer need. They offer Bee Hoon Soup but soup served not hot at all. Not worth for money. 1st and last, never...MoreThank you.. i'll be better after this comment..??

Named after Ernie’s PGA Tour record-breaking 72-hole aggregate in the 2003 Mercedes Championship, Bar & Restaurant 261 is the perfect place to unwind after a round of golf or to watch the sunset over this spectacular course.
Golfed at Els Club Desaru yesterday and obviously Restaurant-261 was the choice for lunch. Great food with good portion and attention to presentation. Food is reasonably priced but drinks are on the high side, almost the same as the cost of a meal. I had the nasi goreng which came with 2 sticks of satay, 2 tempura prawns and an egg on it. There was also Nasi Lemak, Sauerkraut and mashed potato, Els Burger and satay. With 3 drinks the bill came to RM160.
The staff there will recommend their char siew chicken rice which we will try on our next visit.
