a very reasonable priced seafood restaurant and local delicacies in Kluang
We had our CNY reunion dinner at their VIP room without Karaoke system. We were satisfied with their food and services. The only issue was the sound proof was not so good as we could hear very clearly the next room singing and spoiled our appetite. Overall we would come back next year for the CNY reunion dinner but might consider not to choose the room next to with karaoke system.

If you check Waze it would take you to the branch about 1km away which is not too bad since it is air conditioned but if you want the original location then go to the train station. You should not miss it as it is usually crowded. Be prepared to wait for a table though.
The roti bakar and kaya is actually really good and the coffee is unique. I like it. The mee or noodles are not that great, a bit dry. Never had a chance to try the soft boiled eggs. Although paid for, it never arrived and they were boiling away in a huge hot-tub of a hundred or so eggs. Mass production. Definitely one of the must-tries in Kluang.

A place that is great for taking pictures. Loved the feel and deco of the place - very old-school. Very charming. There’s an open mic night every Wednesday. Nice place to chill with friends and beer.

star coffee house & restaurant sdn bhd, since 1979 sounds like a cafe, but nowadays was an Authentic chinese cuisine, we serve around 180 pax for lunch and dinner, we have few signature dish, which is crispy duck, cod fish and most of the home made dish.
The food was great but we waited for work hours in order to get a seat as we did not make any reservation. Fortunately our hotel was nearby so we actually waited in our hotel till 8pm. The restaurant is always very popular so advisable to make reservation at least one day beforehand.

There are quite a lot of food varieties to choose from- western and Asian.
It is very easy to celebrate your birthday or any other occasions here because the cafe also sell cakes and bread(cum bakery).
We bought a delicious ice cream chocolate cake to celebrate Mother's Day.
Fried rice was tasty. But tahu bakar was too salty to my liking. Tomyam beehoon also is better at Secret Recipe.

Nice atmosphere with cozy look; friendly local owner. Went to friends' party where he had catered and had great lamb along with a number of other well done dishes. Next night friends invited us to a dinner at the restaurant where they had talked with the owner chef the day before about Mexican food. He likes to experiment and we had a great dinner. Worth talking to Barney ahead of time if there is something special you want. Good selection of drinks and wide variety of food (especially western) and portions. After a delicious meal both times, had fruit, a nice chocolate cake dessert and choice of tea or coffee. Quite a number of staff including some young people who owner seems to be giving a chance to learn and serve during their school holiday; congrats. Popular place for families, couples and friends.

A local favorite and for most, it's affordable. The otak otak is a favorite including the steamed egg. Can't go wrong with any of the fish selection either.

Chatime is a fresh tea specialist franchise focusing on modernised Taiwanese tea culture. Nothing beats freshly brewed tea for flavour and fragrance. Founded in Taiwan in 2003, Chatime is an international franchise with over 1000 stores worldwide serving more than 400,000 customers every day.
When you're out shopping at the mall, be sure to grab a drink at Chatime. A wide selection for any palate and I'll recommend the green tea red bean matcha. Right next door is the popular Daily Fresh, be sure to try the waffles and corn.
