I hadn't been to Germany for many years and was positively surprised about the new owner, the quality of the food, drinks, the great and always cold beer and the friendly atmosphere.
I grew up in Kitzingen but moved to Thailand 15 years ago where I'm happily married and teaching English to Thai kids from primary to secondary level.
Please don't misunderstand me when I'm writing that too many Turkish Doener Kebab ( or similar) places have popped up like unwanted mushrooms.
Gambrinus is and always was a fantastic place where guests have the full package.
1. Friendly staff, great food, from little snacks to decent German food.
2. Tourists who vitis Kitzingen should try theor Weinschorle, or a good glass of red, or white wine. "In vino veritas."
3. The place is opposite the Roman catholic church and not far away from the river "Main", always good for a walk.
It's a perfect place for people seeking companionship, playing a game of chess, or backgammon, or just having a nice chat with some great people who go to that place every day.
I'd be there every day, but 10,000 km away, an expensive breakfast, brunch, or dinner.
Thanks to the staff of Gambrinus, i truly hope that i can make it in October when the Thai schools are closed. Keep up the good job and never forget to smile. i t keeps you young.

Eaten here many times and the food is outstanding. You can never go wrong with the cold appetizer plate, the souvlaki or the bifteki. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. The one problem is that you must pay in cash.

Kitzinast is my home so everytime I come home I visit DAS Bruckeneck.Sadly last time all our food was very bad. It is sad that the quality of the food is suffering I really don't know why, but I was told the owners changed. Well I guess I have to find a better place to go for my next visited. I was sad for wasting money but could not finish the food because of the lack of quality and taste.

The host and staff at the Esbach -Hof hotel are super nice. Very helpful for those of us who are limited in the language. The restaurant serves excellent food. Free continental breakfast. I would stay here again on future trips to Kitzingen

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been to.
A small restaurant located in the east side of the river just down from the bridge.
Started out with the antipasti and was blown away with the number of plates and the quality of food that we had. You must, must, must try the antipasti it is simply amazing.
We moved into spaghetti started and amazing ravioli with spinach and mushrooms. By this time we had eaten so much food that we split the main course which was salmon which was cooked to perfection. Of course we had to split the desert and it was a wonderful chocolate mousse that was lite and just the perfect flavor of chocolate.
Of course we had wine, the selection was great and the prices are fantastic.

The quality and taste of the food was very good for a buffet of this type. They had a great selection of fresh prepared foods and vegetables. Even the Dessert bar was excellent. Buffet was free for my 4 year old.

I'm not really a friend of Greek restaurants because I cannot see too much difference in the taste no matter where you are. But I think the quality here is a bit better than average. One of the comments here is that the meat was too dry. I cannot confirm, my meat was juicy and tasty. Maybe they do not have a stable quality. I enjoyed the food, for me the portion could be smaller. Overall it was a nice evening with a square meal

KNOW IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. What a location! Decor reflects italian great design. Minimalist and worm at the same time. Service is friendly and always with a smile. Strong choice o PROSECCO and wines. The espresso is super and so the ice cream. Perfect to spend a good time with family and friends. A plus: dog friendly establishment.
I recommend it and will continue to come back.

We had dinner in this hotel/ restaurant with friends and we were very pleased with the cosy atmosphere. The staff , wearing traditional dresses, was absolutely top. They were very friendly, knew exactly what type of wine they were offering and what they were talking about and they gave us a very good advice. Classic kitchen with local (frankische) style. Wine of the area too.
The food they were serving was delicious. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant.
It is a hotel also and we have the feeling that you will not be disappointed when staying overnight.

2 piatti, 1/5lt acqua, 1/5lt birra €22. Nella media tedesca.
Consigliato!
