Kiryat Shmona (Hebrew: קִרְיַת שְׁמוֹנָה, lit. Town of the Eight) is a city located in the Northern District of Israel on the western slopes of the Hula Valley near the Lebanese border. The city was named after the eight people, including Joseph Trumpeldor, who died in 1920 defending Tel Hai.

We were traveling in the area with the family and got recommendation about this place in Metula. the place looks like a ranch, theme very authentic. service was very good, though we didn't make Reservations and place was full, they did their best to accommodate us. Food was incredible tasty, very good steaks, side dishes and even first course was impressively amazing. It is very well recommended.

We arrived around 3.45 Saturday afternoon and had to wait for about 30 minutes till our table was ready. Waiter promptly appeared, explained the different options on the menu with great patience and the delicacies arrived after about 30 minutes, together with cold beers. The kids all had different varieties of pasta, but all the adults had different fish. I had the fried trout. SOOOOO tasty, fresh and soft. It truly was a delight. The kids topped off their meals with what looked like the ultimate desserts. We were all so satisfied by the end of a great holiday up north. Will return shortly to Dag al HaDan

Kibbutz Dafna grows 6 types of fish, which you can test at their restaurant. The place is beautiful and food is very good, but price for fish dishes is too high. So St.Peter's fish cost 89 shekels (~$23),and trout cost 140 shekels ($36.5). Considering that they grow fish themselves it should be much cheaper. although the portions were very big. Besides the prices in English version of menu were different of Hebrew version.

This restaurant came highly recommended by Kobi and Yaniv (Pina Balev). The recommendation did not fail us.
Service was very good (in spite of arriving at 23:00), the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I ordered a small salad and got a mountain, thinking there has been a mistake, but no, the salad portion is huge. It was the best salad I have ever had - the dressing, the local sheep cheese, the nuts, the variety of leaves... They do know how to make a salad a special dish!
We also had the liver dish and the seafood - both delicious and great presentation. The dessert was a stunner, it was the meringue dessert but the presentation was SO unusual for a meringue, it was a yummy delight.

Mainly Humus. A popular place among locals. You can sit inside, with AC, or outside, with the "views" of the industrial area in K. Shmona. The Humus is good, not cheap, generous portions, friendly service. If you prefer Falafel, there are better places in K. Shmona. They don't take credit cards.

We spent a weekend on the North and this was our dinner after a day full of activities. We were all pretty hungry, kids were asking for hamburgers. And hamburgers they got! Each had their own version of the burger (one wants with veggies, the other without, etc.). Adults also enjoyed the burgers, but also there is other variety there - chicken liver, seafood, sushi, pasta, and so on.
The service was quick and efficient, and we enjoyed the dinner. Recommended. :)

This is our default family dinner place. The young ones like the pizza and the pasta dishes. We love the pizza, the salads and other original dishes. Remember to leave place for the home made desserts. We highly recommend the pavlova.

We were a company of four for dinner. Service was very fast ( a bit too fast, we were only halfway through our soups when they brought out the main dishes), all you can eat salads, fresh bread, hot vegetable soup (soup of the day) and an assortment of main dishes (We had Chicken skewers, liver, hamburger and meat).
Food was delicious, nice ambiance and only 20 dollars a meal per person.
Nothing fancy but just a great fun and good place to eat.

This pleasant dairy restaurant serves fresh and tasty salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and breakfasts. Patrons are seated mostly on a large open porch under a pergola. The last two times I was there the service was attentive and pleasant. Its on the highway between Kiryat Shemona and the Tel Dan and Banyias antiquities and nature reserves, which makes it quite convenient.
