Average food - portions are good size for most things.
One thing though - if you ask for a SMALL juice you will get a SMALL serving! Only way it could have been smaller was if it was served in a THIMBLE! When I asked for a water, it was given to me in a HUGE glass. Just funny when I compared the 2 glasses.

Nakhon Thai is family owned and operated. The owner and head Chef (Tan) comes from the South east coast of Thailand.
Had dinner at Nakhon Thai Saturday night. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, which had an assortment of veggies inside a long thin wrapper and were fried crisp. They were delicious. The chicken satay skewers were nicely seasoned and tender. The chicken pad thai was scrumptious.
Service was pleasant but a little on the slow side, especially considering there were few people in the restaurant at that time.
Would definitely give it another go.

Geronimo Coffee House is a spacious inviting coffee shop in historic Old town Kemptville
Not a coffee drinker so can't review on that. Good reviews according to Tripadvisor so we decided to give it a shot. I had a roast beef melt wife had an "eggie". A little pricey but it was really good. Would definitely com back.

A European-style artisan bakery, The Crusty Bakers make a variety of breads and sweets, inspired by French and British traditions, as well as those of many other Countries. With a daily lunch menu of homemade soups and beautiful sandwiches, and weekly specials that range from chili to "Croutine" (crouton poutine), there's certain to be something for everyone. Also available is a variety of delicious local and imported cheeses and sausages, that are out for sampling with an expert on hand every Saturday
I visit often for the baguettes, buns and pies. My kids love the bacon butter tarts. The sandwiches are amazing and worth trying every new combination. The last three variations of grilled cheese have been so great! Visited Saturday with my mom and daughter and thoroughly enjoyed!!!

We’ve been in the south end of Kemptville that last few days on business and on one evening we decided to go Salamanders for dinner. Salamanders is a nice little place on the lower level of an office building on Clothier Street and it has a patio that backs onto the Kemptville Creek. Their menu has a variety of very interesting items that you don’t see all that often in restaurants. We started out meal out with their calamari appetiser, which was very good. I also had the daily soup, which for me ended up being a sriracha sausage and red pepper soup. It was very tasty with a nice little kick. For my entrée, I chose their 10 ounce grilled pork chop with steamed veggies and rice and I enjoyed it very much. Pork chops, especially of this size, is not something you see on most entrée menus but Salamanders did a very good job with this. My co-worker also had the pork chop and he was equally happy and another co-worker had their steak Sandwich which she was quite happy with. Overall this was a great dining experience and I would recommend Salamanders to anyone looking for a nice meal in Kemptville south.

I have driven by this place countless times, but never went in until last weekend. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The selection is typical breakfast fare, but it's the prices that are amazing. It's what breakfast should cost - cheap. The service was fast and pleasant, and the food came promptly. My only critique, and it goes for all restaurants in and around the Ottawa area, not just the Long Reach, is that a western omelet also has green peppers; not just ham and onions. All in all, it was a decent breakfast for a good price. We will be back.

My family has been ordering pizza there since I can remember we recommend it to everyone. The pizza is amazing and so are the chicken wings and donairs! The staff is always friendly and it is better then a the other pizza places in town!

All I can say is that it's great pizza, the only downside is that the prices are ridiculous. $20 for a medium pepperoni? How crazy is that!
