The restaurant is at an awsome place! The staff is nice, and the food is tasty. They serve you so much food, it's almost hard to eat everything. Eating this tasty food while staring at the ocean... nothing can beat Olive.

Has a great lunch here. Better to avoid the rush hours because then the lines to get in are very long. This is explained by the big selection of typical 'real' Japanese dishes generously presented. Personally I had a very tasty unagi-don (eel on rice). The dishes chosen by my friends were equally well received and focused more on tempura. I also saw other customers 'struggle' (in a good way) with huge bowls of tasty looking food. The service was very friendly and the prices reasonable. I recommend!

Considering where this restaurant is, I thought they did a decent job of providing a well presented nice meal. The wine list was relatively short but had a couple of nice bottles that were reasonably priced, the service was good and it had a nice decor with lovely views out onto the ocean. If you are staying at the Kamogawa Grand Hotel then I would definitely recommend eating here, and it is probably worth a trip if you are staying somewhere nearby.

We are used to good food in Japan and we must say that while the food available here is alright, there's nothing to crow about. All 6 of us ordered something different from their main menu with some sides and drinks. The portions are alright for guests with small appetites, I guess, I ordered their seafood soup, and the portion is really rather tiny, considering I do not have a huge appetite. Their selling point is really the view of the orcas swimming past but that's only if you get the tables by the few windows, which is impossible unless there are 4 or less in your party. This is a self-service restaurant, just for your information. A counter staff will take your order, and after you've made payment, she will pass you a device which would light up / vibrate to indicate that your food is ready for collection at the designated collection points. If you had ordered drinks, you could collect them after you have made payment with minimal waiting time if the restaurant is not too crowded. We went on a Monday so it is fine (we need not wait long). To be fair to the restaurant, their service staff are polite and friendly. After we had our lunch, we strolled to other areas in the Seaworld and noticed there are other more interesting street-eats and smaller restaurants / food courts that sell grilled cuttlefish, corn-on-the-cob and Japanese meals at more competitive pricing.

This is not the most attractive restaurant you'll ever see, but it has very good quality, slow-cooked, like-your-mother-makes, seafood, especially whole fish, which you can get grilled or boiled. Great portions too. Be prepared to wait, as it's extremely popular with tourists and has a tiny parking area.
