Kuremae café is very close to Kuremae convent and offers filling lunches. Seating 50, it provides a menu of soups, main meals and desserts. In summer you can enjoy the view across to the convent from its 60-seat Terrace. The café also offers catering services for groups and outdoor events on arrangement.

We are located on Rakvere Street, the main road leading into Johvi. Situated on the second floor of our building, our cosy restaurant has an Oriental-style interior. Our menu includes Indian, Chinese and Thai food. You can enjoy our spicy and not so spicy dishes here with us or order them to take away.

The cosy Linnaisa café is situated on the main street of Johvi and seats up to 30 people. We offer high quality, home-style European cuisine at affordable prices.
I have been here several times and now it seems to get worse.
Cafe is in old unrenovated building.
I didn't notice strong smell of mould earlier but maybe it is due to winter when there is no ventilation. All my clothes went to washing machine after the visit - maybe my last visit in this othervise lovely cafe.

This café is situated on the second floor of the Johvi Concert Hall, right next to the Johvi City Gallery. During the day it serves soups, main meals, desserts and a range of cakes. It is also open until the early hours on nights when events are taking place at the concert hall, and offers catering services for seminars, conferences and receptions being held there.

The Privaat pub is located on the first floor of the Wironia hotel in the centre of Johvi. A pub with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, we offer tasty, home-style meals and barbecue specials. Our pub is one of the few places you can try beer from the Sillamae brewery. We can seat up to 100 people, and also provide catering for groups (with special group menus) when arranged in advance.
I liked this place a lot due to the fantastic customer service! The place is really cozy both for family lunches/dinners or some drinks with your friends. Did not try the cusine this time, but they serve coffee of great quality (highly recommend).
Thumbsup for the hardworking and always shining barmaids! You were amazing!

Georgian restaurant in Johvi!Georgian tavern Mimino is located on the outskirts of Johvi by the Tallinn-Narva road. Here we offer real Georgian flavours and an opportunity to taste the best Georgian wines. We also have Georgian lemonade and beer. The interior of Mimino resembles an old street in Tbilisi, with a Terrace, wine casks and fireplace. All the food has a true Georgian taste thanks to the spices from Georgia. We have a separate private room for bigger groups, if guests want to celebrate birthdays or other important events or have business meetings.Come and enjoy real Georgian flavours in Johvi!
Wonderful food of plenty, great Georgian wine, warm atmosphere, good service.
The warmth of this place and food conquers your body and enlightens your soul saving it from dark and cold Estonian autumn-winter period.
All meats are very good, dumplings delicious and last but not the least the desert! My personal favourite is wine-poached pear with ice-cream.
Have been there numerous times: with friends, family and business.

We arrived here on a Friday evening - and while the downstairs area was full/reserved, we were able to get a table for our small group upstairs near the hotel reception.
This area has a plainer restaurant atmosphere, rather than the loud music venue/TV area downstairs.
Our group ordered various steaks and shashliks (including Armenian Shashlik) - all very good.

This place is rather new in Jõhvi, located by a side street. Street corner is marked with a huge wooden spoon on the main Rakvere street.
Huge wooden restaurant room is decorated with country and soviet time stuff. On weekends there are occasional live bands. At other times typical country style Estonian music is in air.
Food is rather good and low priced. Nothing special but good in quality. Taste and quality varies though, maybe different cook in service. Weekday lunch is cheap and popular.

Wow what an extensive menu so many wonderful choices. The prices are fantastic and our server was delightful. The server only spoke a little English and they did not have an English menu but she gave it a great try plus pictures on the menu certainly helped. If you are in Johvi take the time to stop by and experience the great suishi for yourself
