Dropped in to get ice cream cones. My wife used the washroom which was not clean, the door did not have a latch that worked, and a sign said do not flush toilet paper. They has a container with a lid on it to deposit the paper????What is that all about? They appeared to be very short staffed as it took almost 10 minutes to get our cones. Six people in line in front of us waiting for their orders. They also had a girl in a Dairy Queen uniform outside painting parking lot lines with a paint brush??
Not sure about the survival of this franchise?

We ate here in early November for dinner. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our daughter who is in a wheelchair. My wife and I had the roast Turkey dinner and our daughter had a cheeseburger. All of our meals were very good, and the server that we had was excellent.

We love Indian food and to have this in the town of Hope is just a bonus. It may not look like much from the outside but it is worth going in. Its clean, good service and fantastic food.

From the outside and inside, this small restaurant seems rustic and unimpressive but there is a ramp added for stair-challenged folks and that was great to see. But the quality and taste of dishes offered was so fresh and good; it was definitely our best meal in Hope. As it was a 2-women operation (one cooking and one serving) when we arrived for dinner, when you've got 4 tables to serve, that means some waiting of 20 mins after ordering so be prepared for that and enjoy the complimentary green tea, which was soo refreshing. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Friendly and fast service, Excellent Food! This time we ordered Buckwheat Pancakes—very hearty and filling and very different than buttermilk! Not everyone's cup of tea. Eggs cooked to perfection. Bacon—superb. Extensive menu. Next time I think I have to return to the Yorkshire Rarebit... I had it last time and I think its my favourite!

Staff very nice, restaurant not so much. Awful restrooms, garbage overflowing. Also, if you are driving a large vehicle (think pickup truck and everyone around here has one), try street parking as you won't fit in the lot - period. The sandwiches were up to Subway standards, just need to clean the place up.

Vegan Juice and Smoothie bar with some plant based raw foods. During the colder months we make our delicious vegan soups and chili.
Jungle Juice is great. We stopped in hoping for a snack for the road. I ordered a veggie Sandwich, and what I received was a masterfully and meticulously prepared masterpiece. Very tasty, very fresh and made with quality produce and some kind of incredible flatbread/wrap. Definitely worth the stop in Hope, and will be a regular stop for me on the way to the AlCan from now on.

The chefs at 293 Wallace Street Restaurant rarely look farther than 150 kilometres away for their meats and produce, sourcing organic ingredients from farmers throughout the Fraser Valley whenever possible. These ingredients lend harvest-fresh flavours to their eclectically influenced menu, which includes aged-in-house Angus steaks alongside traditional Creole, Indian, and Italian entrees. They also whisk together all of their own sauces and dressings, and modify dishes to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets. The restaurant features outdoor Seating for scowling at clouds during the warmer seasons, and shelters guests with rich earth tones and dark wooden accents within the dining room. Red tulips add vibrant splashes to the decor, as do the tabletop colouring sheets that busy children's hands pre-meal.

We are not simply a Tea and Coffee place. We are a cafe that offers bacon and eggs, breakfast scones, soup and sandwiches, wraps, panini, hot sandwiches and an assortment of desserts from sweets to pies. And much more.
Best food on Cochihalla highway in Hope half way between Vancouver and Kamloops. Smoked Turkey with cheese Sandwich with multi corn chips. Vegetarian flatbread Sandwich. Both were great. Get there before 12 or expect a long lineup. But worth the wait. You can order online to save time. Menu is not that visible and delays ordering which adds to the lineup. The 2 washrooms in the back are clean but unisex, so again long lineups. We didn't try them but great looking desserts.

I didn't expect to find good sushi in a town the size of Hope, but it was excellent and very reasonably priced. Seems popular with locals as well. Only complaints - my tobiko was slightly frozen and my partner's prawn yakisoba advertised 6 prawns but he only got 4. Still, a good place to eat in Hope if you like Japanese/Korean food.
