Visited on our trip from the UK during our Tour of the Rockies. Staff very friendly, food good, as always experienced in these restaurants. Our waitress was chatty about her trip to the UK etc and we were made to feel very welcome. We are glad to hear it, Malvern2016! Thank you for sharing your experience!

Enjoy a variety of tasty fare at our Greentree Restaurant, located conveniently in Holiday Inn Hinton. The Greentree Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers room service between 6am and 9pm for your convenience. Also, relax with a cold one at the Fireside Lounge, located along with Greentree Restaurant. You can order a light meal from the full menu, enjoy relaxing with friends, or play our VLT machines.
My husband and I stopped here for a late breakfast on our way to Jasper. Our server was friendly and efficient and very accommodating. My husband had a ham and cheese omelet which he said was good. I have an egg allergy so asked if I could have the steak and eggs but fresh fruit instead of the eggs. Our waitress said she would ask and I was I impressed when they said they would at no extra charge. That has never happened before! Food was hot, fresh and we enjoyed our breakfast.

Went here while visiting on business based on the rave reviews and #1 overall rating. First the good news - pizza was ok - we're a long long ways from either Chicago or New York so it's all relative. The place is not easy to find - way off the beaten path. It's pretty tacky decor - a bar but no stools. Waitress attire beyond tacky. This poor ++size gal wearing a 'wife beater' shirt, torn jeans complete with plastic flip flops would send many patrons straight to the exit!! Cmon Gus! BTW the owner did make a cameo appearance to the dining room - sat down and watched - what else - Hockey eh?

Ate here twice while we were staying in Hinton. This is a order at counter, pick up at counter restaurant. Food was ready in a timely manner. Both times we both had Spaghetti and Meatballs, which was very good. My only compliant was they charged $2.00 for Diet Coke refill.

I never write reviews, but Olympia was just the restaurant the four of us needed after almost 2 weeks of travel. The food was fresh and very close to home cooking, not overly seasoned or complicated. Platters come with a fresh, flavorful salad, a delicious half lemony potato and a perfectly cooked main of your choice. Neither too little nor too much food. Delicious draft beer served in a cold mug. Server was knowledgeable about the food and also about Jasper hiking and things to do. We've eaten at many top rated restaurants this trip and enjoyed this restaurant equally as much. Can highly recommend.

The R oyal Garden has an extensive Asian menu, prinarily Chinese, but with offereings from Thailand and Japan as well. Service was good - there was only one waitress and she played hostess, busboy and waitress - but still provided good service. The serving size was large, the food was very good and we thought a good value for the money. Would recommend it to all.

The Alberta tenderloin was excellent. My dining companion had the venison which was also quite exceptional and delicious too! Our server Shayna, while quite busy was able to still chat and take care of everything and everyone quickly! We really enjoyed the food and views.

Visited a couple of times during our stay in Hinton.
Biggest portions I have ever seen. I struggled with the half portion of spaghetti and meatballs. My partner ordered the veal and was served two huge cutlets.
On the next two visits we ordered a main between us. Still plenty of food. The garlic toast was good. Excellent steak and surf and turf. Staff really good, friendly and informative on Hinton and Jasper.
Menu similar to most other places but worth a visit if you are hungry.

Off Yellow Head Highway to the right onto 120 Felaber. Located between Lakeveiw Inn and Holiday Inn.
Waited so long to get our food and when it arrived, we were extremely disappointed. The overpriced food was served in very small quantities. Food was under cooked - chicken was raw and the shrimp stank so both were difficult to eat. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice ambiance. The staff was also friendly.

This is a 'must visit' place every time I'm in the area. I've been coming to Hinton for about 3 years as part of a new local business venture. From the very first visit this place has never disappointed. It's always busy around lunchtime- but always well worth the wait in line. The food is all fresh and made on location. Soups to sandwiches to wraps and salads are all very tasty. I've often used them to cater our flights back to US. Never been disappointed!
