What a place... they have expanded their outside Seating area in the recent past and that has made this great bar a new fabulous dinning hot spot. Few rare places in Canberra where the legendary Irish beer is served from the tap and you get the true thick creamy taste of the black magic :)

Decided to give this place a try since it reopened in a new location after the renovations at the old location.
It has definitely gone a bit more upmarket and hipster in a way.
Prices have gone up as well but the food portions seem to have increased from what I remember.
Friendly staff, clean restaurant, decent portions give this place a tick.
Just nit picking, the smashed avo was more of a purée.
I'd come back here and try their lunch menu next time.

I have been to Arirang many times, because they offer the best Korean pancakes and our favorite hotpot in Canberra: the Big pork bone hotpot.
The pancakes offered in the restaurant are crispy, yet still packed with a lot of ingredients. Unlike in other places where the pancakes are either soggy or too floury.
The big bone hotpot -the $45 dollar one to be shared between 2 to 4 people is also really a bargain for meat lovers who does not mind shearing the meat from the bones. This is the most popular dish in the restaurant, and usually half the people there order it during dinner.
The free appetizers are alright- I don't think they make the kimchi themselves. But they can be refilled for free. The staff are usually friendly, and you can get free takeaway boxes and bags if you can't finish the food.
It is a nice restaurant if you are hanging out with family or friends- up to 6 people. The space is limited and the table sizes are not big. However, this is certainly not a place for formal business dinners or romantic dates.

Dined here tonight for a quick after work dinner.
Good service, tasty food, absolutely freezing cold restaurant.
Curry puffs and chicken satay skewers to start. Crackiling pork and chicken with chilli and ginger for mains with saffron rice. One lemon lime and bitters, one Singha beer... $85!
Good food, good service..but not $85 good on a Monday night!
Probably would have had the banoffee deep fried ice cream for dessert but the place was too cold to sit in so we decided to leave. Probably a good thing considering the bill was at $85 already.

Host Andrew Holland and his team once again provided a memorable meal. Although out of the mainstream and a little difficult to find, Versatile is well worth the effort. From the amusee bouche to dessert, the food was wonderful, complemented by great service from Andrew and Kim. A devoted following shows this restaurant is finding its mark in Canberra's northern suburbs. A three course repast for $60 is hard to beat!

We went here under a recommendation from a local friend and we had a very good dinner eventually.
We ordered Butter Chicken, Paneer Butter Masala & Biryani. All were flavourful, soulful and deliciously prepared.
I would surely recommend them for Indian food! They cater however only for North Indian cuisine and not South Indian.

We recently discovered Mirchi Indian Cuisine and are hooked! Without doubt the best Indian food we've had in Canberra! Don't let its suburban location fool you - this place is super popular with locals (in fact, we've had to park in the streets on a couple of occasions as it's been so busy!) But don't let this deter you - it's well worth it! The decor is simple yet welcoming, the staff are super friendly, the kitchen is very efficient (even on a weekend when the restaurant is full!) and the food is divine! There is something on the menu for everyone and we've never been disappointed (our personal favourite is the 'Dinner Pack for Two' - their curries, samosas and naan are divine!) We even take our family from Sydney when they come to visit - delicious!
Mirchi has very quickly become our favourite Indian Restaurant in Canberra - highly recommended!

Only our second time here and again - all expectations met and exceeded! Highly original, authentic yet personal (like a family) environment, sincere service, relaxed and comfy, and the food! A++ entrees, incredible mains - we will be back! (& with our friends). Really wonderful to have such quality ethnic options like this in Gungahlin & the capital.
