We had a lovely evening at Lou Totem. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxed. The food was good, simple and without pretensions and very good value for money. The hosts were very pleasant and even ensured we got home safely.

First I had the gratinated shelf-fish (assiette the coquillages gratinees) which was nice although I prefer some garlic on these creatures. But then the daurade was served! Never eaten such a delicious fish. Gosh... And the desert (Moelleux with creme anglaise) was also fabulous. Highly...MoreThank you for coming and your nice comment. It was a pleasure for us

This restaurant is in a fascinating location, worth a visit especially if you want to try the local oysters. This restaurant had a lovely setting, try and get a table outside, inside also very nice. Service was friendly and helpful. Duck, tuna loved by all, my Dorada was ok.
Chocolate pudding a great hit, worth the 11 minute wait.

We were staying at the hotel around the corner so this place seemed convenient, and they serve quite late. The greeting and service were ok, one lady, the owner I think, was very professional and the young staff were agreeable enough. We had a warm...MoreLA FERIA vous remercie de votre visite ainsi que de votre avis et vous dit à très bientôt.

We had been here when the lay owners were there and it wasn't bad.
Now it's a lot better. Why?
Because they have redecorated in a comfortable but efficient way.
Because the food is good and if it isn't on a particular night the new owners know straight away by continually watching the clientele, and they intervene.
Because the welcome is fantastic and the service as well.
Whether it be for a drink, a meal, a desert, or just to say hello, these guys are good.
Thanks

Fresh oysters to an affordable price.
Only negative point is that they do not offer alternatives for those that do not like oysters (only pate).
The surroundings are very peculiar with all the old fashioned small restaurants an docks.
Curious experience to repeat.
I took two dozens for home for a really good price.

The menu is limited to seafood but it is so fresh and so delicious that you will not want anything else. The location, in a marina, is charming, particularly at sunset. We started with oysters on the shell that were big, juicy absolutely delicious. Then we choose the mussels "a la plancha", better in my opinion, that any "moules marinières" or marinara that I have tasted. The portions were generous and the French fries excellent. There is a choice of 3 desserts and the one that I choose, a Fontainebleau, if memory serves me right, was scrumptious.

Very close to the Oyster-Farming Museum, Cayouckette - a seagull in the local dialect - welcome his visitors in a typical cabin with a nice Terrace and a beautiful view on the Port de Larros in the city of Gujan-Mestras. You will enjoy fine and delicate oysters from Arcacho (as well as from the Cap Ferret and the Banc d'Arguin) produced by himself.Cayouckette is a wine lover. He has made an excellent selection of liquids that will go wonderfully with his oysters. You will love it.Cayouckette can speak English and he loves chatting. sharing his passions and helping foreigners. So please don't hesitate to come over to enjoy a chat and to learn more about the secrets of the Arcachon Bay!
The place is extremely simple but lively. Oysters are fresh, the food around simple. But the landscape around is beautiful and great particularly for sunset.

Call ahead to order and pick up. Products used are fresh but crust not crispy enough to my taste. Friends staff.

As you walk around the port de Larros there are many fish restaurants selling oysters, some at more inflated prices than others. This is our fourth visit to this place and each time you are greeted with a smile and friendly staff. The service to quick and the shellfish are fresh. For the area the prices aren't bad either. If you sit outside you have lovely views up and down the port and beyond.
