Nautika Restaurant lies on the very edge of the sea at Pile, alongside the entrance to Dubrovnik's Old City. From its unique terraces, diners can enjoy a truly one-of-a-kind view of the Adriatic and the fortresses of Lovrijenac and Bokar. The restaurant's chef, Mario Bunda, leads a team whose varied offerings include lobster from the Dalmatian island of Vis and delicacies from the local waters of the Adriatic. About the cousine: The chef's role begins where that of the craftsman, Mother Nature, ends. It consists of transforming something that is beautiful, by its very essence, into something exceptional.
What can I say , we are foodies but are sometimes disappointed by pretentious crap more often these days peddled at some so called starred restaurants. This restaurant is different , Waiters were great open friendly gave plenty of time and advice to make sure we had understood the choices , local knowledge , taking the time to try and understand our tastes which greatly added to the experience. On to the meal fantastic flavours fish soup was sensational , strongly flavoured consommé truly excellent. Salt baked Bass fantastic. All 6 of us left the restaurant completely satisfied and bearing in mind you get what you pay for the bill was a fair price for the quality. Weather was not good for outside Terrace dining but if this happens don’t worry inside is very nice.

Restaurant Dubrovnik is constantly proving its reputation as being amongst Dubrovnik's top class restaurants, serving a consistently good quality food with a distinctly modern Dalmatian twist. Situated literally minutes from the main street Stradun and just a stone throw from the popular Green market, featuring the most recognizable Terrace in the Old Town, this delightful place is set in one of those secluded corners of the town's enchanting little streets, providing the guests with just an ideal level of privacy whilst still keeping the feeling of belonging to the old urban centre. Together with exquisite service, its elegance and inspiring ambience encourages return visits since it has been reopened in 2006.
Excellent find hidden a level above the tourist crowds and repetitive menus of each restaurant on the corner
Fine dining - interesting menu - loved everything we tried
Excellent service - I wish I remembered our waiter's name. He was so helpful, sharing tips and information about the food/wine/area, and gave us a few complimentary treats
Strong recommendation for fine dining - great for couples

Dubrovnik's new gem where diners enjoy a beautiful fusion of Dalmatian and Japanese cuisine. A unique place in the Old City to taste fresh oysters grown at the oyster farm in nearby Mali Ston Bay. This bay is the last place where the "Queen of oysters" (Ostrea edulis) still grows. The Oyster & Sushi Bar Bota is located in the charming, small alley by the Cathedral.

Had dinner here one evening and it was fantastic. The location in the city walls is great and the decor is a lovely blend of traditional and contemporary. The service was first class.
The food was delicious and was well presented. There is a great selection of local and international wines to choose from. A gem of a place.

Taste delicious, excellently served dishes at 'Above5' restaurant, located on the only rooftop Terrace in Old Town, while enjoying unforgettable views of the ancient city walls, roofs, sea and neighboring Islands. Breakfast is served from 08:00 - 11:00 and dinner 18:00 - 23:00.<br>Our restaurant is closed in period from November 1st.2017.- March 1st 2018.
Above 5’s view of Dubrovnik was great, but you will need to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach the restaurant. The service was attentive, the wine was good, but the food did not meet our expectations.
We ordered the beef pate, the chief’s focaccia, the seabass with celery cream and the tuna with avocado. With the exception of the seabass, the other dishes were disappointing. The tuna was served medium although I had asked for it be rare. The avocados were hard and tasteless, which surprised us as living in California we are used to ripe, delicious avocados. The focaccia bread seemed a little undercooked.

Beautiful old building with stunning view from the Terrace. We were here as couple celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary.
Menu is simple :mainly meat prepared on several ways, few local specialties and even venison, no fancy experimental nonsense with food.
Service is nice and made us feel welcome. Prices are more than decent, compared to similar places. We will be back for sure.
Highly recommended.

We visited this charming unpretentious bistro due to a friend recomendation and were so glad we did it. The location itself is beautifull. Small Terrace next to the river, perfect nature surrounding. The food was great. We order beef burger and ribeye steak. Both of them were delicious. They offer huge variety od beer, paradise for beer lovers. We listen recomendation of our waiter Marino, who was very nice and polite, and tried couple of croatian craft beers. Would definitley come back!

Back from the beach or walk in our beautiful surrounding of nature reserve you would definetely enjoy to relax and taste great food and good wine, beer or maybe a cocktail. By combining tradition and modernity in an exceptional way interior is unique and nature ambient of island gives you unforgettable experience. We cordially invite you to our Lacroma Restaurant
Spent 3 days in Dubrovnik and this was one of the two best meals we had, by far. The island itself was enchanting (and not overrun) with wild rabbits and peacocks and crystal clear waters. Now on to the restaurant. Had a steak and it was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and so juicy and tasty. I'm a steak snob and this was definitely a very good meal. And reasonably priced for being on an island. The service was fantastic and, in the summer, the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend this place. This was my second time to Dubrovnik, and I would visit Lokrum and the restaurant again.

Takenoko Dubrovnik Our restaurant Takenoko was the first Japanese restaurant in Croatia which makes us the initiators of an exceptional culinary story in the region and beyond. We have spent 15 successful years at our first location in Centar Kaptol. The second big step for us that in spring of 2016 was the opening of a luxury restaurant Takenoko in one of the world centers of tourism - Dubrovnik. Led by our longtime chef Motohiko Mochizuki and Mario Obrovac in Zagreb, we presented a new menu for the two newly opened restaurants. The chef at our address in Dubrovnik is a great name of Croatian culinary scene, Mario Starman. Another interesting innovation that we introduced after the transfer is a new selection of cocktails and beverages, which was created by our barmen Krunoslav Miler. The business tradition and the continued high level of work resulted in winning numerous awards.
Located outside the Ploce Gate, overlooking the city walls and the harbour, Takenoko is well-known in Croatia and one of the best Japanese Fusion Restaurants. Sushi and Sashimi are amazing and of highest quality. Excellent wine-list. Service is very professional, friendly and helpful. Reservation is a must!

A small Wine bar in located in Dubrovnik's Old Town, with a quality selection of croatian wines and food platters that match perfectly. A nice quiet spot in the Za rokom street, number 11. Get away from Old Town's crowded streets and have a drink with us!
This little gem I agree with all the other reviews it was relaxing good tasting wine we had the cheese platter with olives which too was lovely this place is of the beaten track which is ideal for getting away from the crowds, highly Recommend for a quiet hour spent.
