WoW you will be 'hard-pressed' to find better steaks (anywhere in the world).
This restaurant has a wonderful ambience that makes you feel like you've found a gem of traditional dining. No gimmicks no fuss just excellent service from the staff and visible chefs cooking in full view of the Seating areas.
Whether you're on a business trip or a romantic meal for two this restaurant will leave you feeling delighted that you've dined here. Superb Thank you.

Here like triftt you look. The heart of our guest house is the curving bar area where you have nice conversations with a delicious aperitif, digestif, beer or wine ... Home at the beautiful Lake Constance. Regional ceiling paintings and the typical round Bodensee stove prove the Swabian Sea here their honor ... Overall, it's quaint to: Feel set back partly on a Bavarian farm, in the old days, while enjoying good times ... Just past the Bavarian lounge will take you with us right in the Ticino! The Ticino waiting room with a little flair to mediterraneren ... Time for Törggelen ... The typical Tirol Lüftelmalereinen and traditional chairs and benches with Tyrolean Fleckerlpolster adorn this cozy room with tiled stove or surprise at the entrance in the faithful Schwarzwaldstube with genuine Black Forest mill wheel ... like you can also enjoy the original wine barrel ... lauschig it comes to our grape arbor. The table in the open wine barrel and the original, restored wine press from 1833 make a cozy impression ... Biergarten time is the best time! Outside the last sunrays enjoy at erfischenden drinks and a tasty meal from our extensive menu ...
We tried the restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews. The space surrounding the bar is interesting. We enjoyed steak, schnitzel and pasta. The portions were large, and the food was good. The service could have been better, but they were a bit crowded.

We tried 4 different flavours and they were all rather tasteless, nothing like genuine Italian ice cream. Plus one of the cones was stale. The coffee was also below average. Service was efficient, though not friendly.

It has a variety of foods, steaks, burgers, pizza, schnitzel. It is a little outside of town, bus nearby. Best Schnitzel ever.
Finding a good steak can be a risky proposition. But the Spicy Grill is the exception. Very excellent food and great service even at the height of the dinner hour.
The menu is pretty extensive with selections ranging from pizza to hamburgers to Serbian cevapcicci. I had a 180 gr filet that was cooked to perfection. I was curious t see what their idea of spicy was but ... there is always another time. Service was pleasant and the staff does a great job with English.
Will definitely visit again when I'm in town...

We have been coming to Friedrichshafen for eleven years and on almost every visit we have eaten at Ristorante Trulli. Family run by Familie Sciocchetti, the restaurant offers excellent value and good service.
A wide range of pastas, meats, fish and pizza are on offer. The pizzas are the stand out. Lovely wines by the glass, but the viertel and the bottle. Food is cooked to order and very fresh.
Open every day except Sunday, Risorante Trulli can be relied upon for good food, wine and friendly service.
Our most recent visit was as good as ever and two pizzas and three viertels of wine came to €33.20 - very good value.
If you are in Friedrichshafen you should call in.

This convenient Italian restaurant is almost next door to Hotel Maier where were staying. We spent our second evening there and enjoyed a pretty good meal which was well priced. The s'Wirtshaus am See is a German restaurant with a beautiful beer garden on the Promenade in Friedrichshafen including fantastic views of Lake Constance (Bodensee). This traditional restaurant awaits you with Swabian and Bavarian specialties such as cheese noodles, dumplings, schnitzel, pork knuckles or a delicious roast. The food is lovingly prepared with ingredients from the region around Lake Constance. A regional beer or Bodensee wine completes the unique culinary experience. Good German cuisine from Lake Constance! In summer you can enjoy the German food in a beautiful beer garden enjoying the view to the lake. In addition to lunch and dinner, the restaurant also offers an extensive daily breakfast - on Sundays and public holidays also a delicious brunch.
This was rated one of the top restaurants in this town but sadly it's come to believe they now don't have to try too hard to impress. We had booked two nights before as we could not secure a table for the night we wanted. We arrived on time but still had to wait while another party were hurried from their table so we could sit down. We had to share our large table with another group as our table had not been kept. We waited some time before our drinks order was taken and at no stage were we welcomed or made to feel special in any way. It was assumed we could find the menu in English which was quite easy to find but as both the chap in Leather pants and the harassed female in a German costume covered by her hoodie rushed around the tables there was no opportunity to discuss options on the menu. We ordered our drinks which were almost flung down in front of us followed by our cutlery and napkins stuffed into a stein. Help yourself seemed to be the message here! Our new companions were served first and had drinks replenished whilst we tried to wave at either member of staff in vain to order our meal. The food was only average. We were presented with smaller portions than we have come to expect here in Germany. It appeared that others were given salads and bread with their meals which we did not. When we finally were given the home made apple cakes ( it was emphasised they made their own on the menu) it was very obvious they had been reheated and not freshly cooked. They were acceptable but not exciting. I was very disappointed to learn my friend was asked if she wanted to leave a tip when offering her card for payment rather than allowing her to make that decision for herself. We reluctantly left one in cash despite not feeling we actually wanted to. As strangers to the area we did not feel at all as if our custom was wanted let alone appreciated. Perhaps there was too much emphasis on bums on seats rather than good customer service.

Very friendly and polite staff. Unfortunately, menu doesn't have many vegetarian options. But what I had so far was quite nice: pumpkin risotto with goat cheese and salad with cottage cheese dumplings. Would like to point out an extremely tasty home-made dressing in the salad. Generally restaurants in Germany are not that much "amazing" at salad dressings. Can recommend as a good dinner option for one time visit.

On 19 Aug we arrived in Freidrichstafen at 3 pm. Usually lunch is served between 11-14:00 in Germany, but this place was open and served good pizza and salad. Prices are good for being in the center of the shopping district and there is a play ground across the way, so would be great for families with small children. The waitress was friendly and food tasty. It is located across from the Zeppelin Museum on the west side.
