Thank you to waiter Rashid for his great sense of humour, and the lovely Dutch owners for the stunning food and service. Yes it is a little expensive but it is worth it.
This is definitely the place to impress a first date, or even the lady I love or on your own or even better with clients \ guests \ family. Heck just go there!

We Open just for dinners
We’ve been traveling for two months and this was without question the finest dinner we've had. We had a beautiful beef filet and fish (cod?) with shrimp. Both meals came with vegetables, mashed potatoes with one and potatoes au gratin with the other - and the presentation was outstanding.
The service was very relaxed (slow?) - but all good. This wasn't our least expensive meal by any stretch, but definitely the best to date.
Ya gets whatcha pays fer.

I cannot believe no one has reviewed this restaurant. The cheapest, most reliable, best service grill restaurant in Sao Bras - always busy and lots of fresh fish for us non meat eaters. Chicken and chips is 4 euros - beat that!
Centrally placed - large shared tables - great meat from the grill - local wine by the carafe and Piri piri sauce to spice it all up - delicious and very reasonable too !!

Outdoor Seating, family with children. Our restaurant is located on the road from olhao to pechao (N2-6),Belmonte de cima. Note:No payment with cards accepted.
Not only is it welcoming, bilingual and pretty, with indoor & outdoor eating areas, the food is magnificent! Parking through an open gateway to the right of the easily found venue, enter through the rear or front entrance and prepare for a cuisine experience. Fresh, local fish, steaks, lamb and veggie options - we each had a different dish & declared it delicious. Stuffed squid in a coconut curry sauce was voted the best. Cost was less than €120 including 1ltr house wine, 4 starters & 4 mains, with superb, home made hors d’oerves. Gluten free easily catered for and understood.

Lovely place, great service but here goes the jury. 1. The starter was from Aldi, deep fried Camembert. Well I could have bought it. 2. Second course was "rana" ravoili, again shop bought, girlfriend's dish was rana black spaghetti with overcooked prawns. All dreadful, sorry.

The staff here are great and make you feel really welcome with good service and free shots. Unfortunately the food is only average. Poppadoms and pickles were very good but my main course was disappointing. The rice was well cooked, but the keema nan didn't contain any meat. It seemed to be covered in oil and red food colouring were the meat should be. My sag chicken was cubes of chicken in a a deep green sauce with no sign of any fresh spinach or any other vegetables. It was ok but far from the best I have ever tasted.

Casual dining and lunch. Mediterranean and international cuisine; slow cooked food, spices and homemade sauces ...
The restaurant is a bit outside in Mesquita in an old olive factory. The owner is Austrian. Rest of her family works in the restaurant and are really pollite and service oriented. It is very spacious, has great wiens and they serve perfect food. We shared gamba's, which were very fresh and well served. The main course was filet steak and octopus. Lovely and very tasteful! Ice and coffee to finish off. I forgot to mention the aperitive; white port with tonic and ice. It's a bit more expensive than other restaurants but 80 euro's for such an excellent dinner is worthwile.

Visited this lovely place a few times this week; staff are so friendly and the atmosphere here is warm and inviting. We had breakfast today , celebrating my daughters birthday- croissants to die for, freshly baked and melted in your mouth. All the food is beautiful here, would recommend to anyone, families, couples and even solo travellers.

After Reading so many great reviews, this was our first time at Rui's. Location is somewhat off putting but restaurant is nicely set up and decorated. Large outdoor eating area too. Food here is not authentic Portuguese, catering for those (mostly English) who like their steak, which is on the expensive side. There is an interesting variety of side dishes, all lovely, all imaginative but, again, pricey for what they were. Drinks too are relatively expensive here. In summary, food is good but expensive and not authentic. Don't think we'll be rushing back. (Do not sit at table by door leading to loos as restaurant shares toilet facilities with bar next door and are not very clean!)

Its an Indian Curry Restaurant.Besides this we have Pizza and kebab. We do Take away & home Delivery.Open 11.00 TO 24.00 All days.
We're always up for a good curry so thought we'd give this place a whirl. The inside was very dark and as it was warm we thought we'd sit outside. Well what can I say the 'garden' needs some work doing on it and I'll leave it at that. The waiter was a nice bloke and we had two good curries. I'd say support the place so he can upgrade the property! Marks property/decor 1* curry 4*
