Enniscorthy, (Irish: Inis Córthaidh) is the second-largest town in County Wexford, Ireland. At the 2016 census, the population of the town and environs increased 11,381. The Placenames Database of Ireland sheds no light on the origins of the town's name. It may refer either to the "Island of Corthaidh" or the "Island of Rocks". My dream was to create a place where my guests could feel comfortable, as if they were in "my" Italy, so vital, warm and colourful. I made my dream come true in my restaurant in Wexford, where guests, friends and staff are like part of my family. Time is the most precious asset. My aim is to provide moments of indulgence, cordial reception and amusement."
Really lovely restaurant with interesting décor (several pictures of Mussolini!) and charming and friendly staff. No kids menu but they were helpful in splitting a pizza and suggesting chip-type roast potatoes. Duck was nice enough, but fondant potatoes were gorgeous and cooked perfectly. Daughters had...MoreDear Fionnb Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food and atmosphere of Via Veneto. We hope to see you again soon. Very disappointed - the waitress was lovely very friendly but unfortunately the food was not good. The chips were rock hard and the coleslaw was flavourless - 18 euro for a pitta pocket so therefore extremely over priced for what we got. Won't be returning.

Quite a limited menu with particularly poor and unimaginative choices for starters. A shared starter of chicken wings for two was €13.50 Two steaks which were good, at an average of €26 each.A bottle of wine at €25 brought the total bill including tip to over €100 for a very average meal.

At Alba restaurant, we serve up Italian hospitality with our flavorful original dishes. Come enjoy our warm, comfortable environment that invites friends and family to relax and enjoy each other over a great meal, it's a little celebration of the good things in life, everyday.
Really enjoyed our meal here in this lovely resteraunt. Our italian waitress was brilliant at explaining the various food choices. We had the special Burrata (extra creamy Mozzarella) cheese starter for two which was a revelation. This was followed by the equally delicious John Dory main course for myself and the Pork Belly for my wife, both accompanied by a delicious vegtable selection. We only had room for a shared Italian classic of Tiramasu for dessert. Total bill without wine was a good value €65. Definately one of the best restaraunts in Enniscorthy

Decided to treat myself after a hard weeks slog by breakfasting out. Nice place, nice varied menue, nice friendly staff. I Ordered poached egg with rocket salad.
My food arrived but on examination the 'non rocket' salad was actually mouldy, very decayed, obviously from a bag, not inspected or washed.
I ate the eggs and later when a waitress came over I told her
and she half smiled and collected my plate with no comment. I went up to pay after a while and had to request not to be charged for the mouldy salad. I was very polite but got no apology. I was treated like a grump....an inconvenience..
So enjoy your scones here but salad is not a runner
Customer care training lacking in complaints dept.

We came here for the early bird menu one evening. Theres a good selection to choose from & it consists of starter, main & tea/coffee for €15. We got the onion baji for starters & it was delicious then we got the chicken tikka for mains with rice & garlic naan bread. Everything was lovely & we really enjoyed it. There was only 1 waiter on but the service was fantastic. Food arrived quickly & piping hot. We will be back again soon
