Nice restaurant.Too many tables, that makes the restaurant a little too un-personal. Service is efficient, professional and helpful. Food is pretty good and the value for money is excellent. Planken Wambuis is close to the woods, this makes it a great place to hike first and dine afterwards (be sure to make a reservation).

Went here with a big group. The fact that there is big sign in the same colors of a traffic sign saying "3 course menu for 29€" says everything. Place is very noisy and full due to the price. Service is very amateur. And the food was ok, but nothing remarkable. Not returning soon... Pity.

It is not impossible that this is the best Italian restaurant in town. But we talk about Ede, Netherlands. Didn't hear about it? Really?? How come? ;-) Anyway, if you are actually near the restaurant, and you are hungry, and really want some Italian food - you can go in. The food is not un-eatable. They even speak Italian...

Enjoy traditional hospitality and unique Balkan cuisine. Let us take you into a journey of romantic candle light and the perfect ambiance. Just a drink, anniversary party or a plain diner. At Balkan Restaurant we make all of this possible. In name of our entire crew, we would like to extend a most cordial welcome to all of you.
We visited Balkan Restaurant Joegoslavië together with friends. We received a very warm welcome, and the good service was maintained all evening. The food which we ordered was really nice. We had a grill plate with different types of meat, which was prepared spot on. The meat was not dry, as you often get in these sort of restaurants, but really nice, juicy and tender. The salad was fine, our cauliflower still had a nice bite, and the fried potatoes were crispy. We also had a mushroom sauce, which was nice, and tzaziki, which was not too sharp. In total we really all enjoyed our meal. The waiter offered us a typical balkan (plum liquor) drink for free with our coffee.
In total a lovely evening, better than we had hoped for.

When we arrived, the only other customers were at the bar. We were a little hesitant about ordering a meal, but we shouldn't have worried. I had some great spareribs and my husband had a satay. These came with two kinds of potatoes, beets, and a salad-more food than we could eat. Prices were okay for a tourist town and service was very pleasant and helpful.

We stopped in here on the way to our hotel (see my other reviews) and in retrospect were really glad we did. The food was great, the ambience inside was nice and I especially enjoyed the big bowl of cherries that I had for dessert. Good wholesome food. Try the Veluwe stew - my husband was in 7th heaven!

Het Koetshuis has a very good reputation, and it certainly lived up to that when we visited. The atmosphere is lovely, it's quite relaxed despite being a fine-dining experience. The food is excellent, but just not my sort of thing. I prefer simple food, this is anything but. It's carefully crafted with a lot of ingredients. Also I'm vegetarian and then the menu options were quite limited, but they were very accommodating and made me a main course that wasn't on the menu. The Terrace outside is simply lovely in the summer. The wine selection is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

When my colleagues told me to meet them at the: Het oude Politiebureau, I had no idea what to expect. Being British, my Dutch isn't that good so I logged onto their website and asked if they could email me an English menu. I was surprised (in a good way) to get the menu emailed back to me in less than 10 minutes: incredible and thanks so much Het oude Politiebureau.
It was a hot summers evening so our group sat outside in the restaurants garden and this just added to great evening. The menu that my colleagues had chosen had something for everyone and the food itself tasted superb.
So for me: thumbs up for the Het oude Politiebureau. Well done and I hope to be back really soon. Go and try it for yourself.

At O Mundo you can enjoy a delicious dinner in Wageningen. That's for sure. Our card full of modern classics is renewed every six weeks by chef Jonathan Veldhuizen. His dishes are creasted with the classical French cuisine in mind, but with (middle) eastern influences, none of the dishes is old fashioned or boring. Any allergies or other wishes can easily be reported when making the reservation. Besides our delicious à la carte dishes we are known for our seven course O Mundo menu. This special menu is full of creativity and exciting new dishes, designed by our kitchen brigade. For groups from 8 persons we serve only the menu, but of course we do take into account the wishes of you and your party.
We've had dinner at some different * restaurants, with very different results. This was definitely an amazing experience! Very nice combinations and great quality products. Very reasonable priced wines starting from 4,50 a glass till 9 a glass. Beside being reasonably priced, they serve the glasses very well. Multiple times i had my wine by glass of 10 euros with a little layer of wine! Definitely not the case here. So overall, the experience is more than satisfying and we will for sure come back here.
